Health and Wellness

  • Health Insurance
    CDW offers a choice of three health plans through Aetna Healthcare: an In-Network Plan, a PPO Plan and a Healthy Advantage Plan. Prescription drug coverage and a basic vision allowance are included in each of the health plans.

  • Health Savings Account
    A Health Savings Account is a tax-favored account you can use to pay for eligible current and future healthcare expenses with pre-tax dollars. You must enroll in the Healthy Advantage Plan to be eligible to open a Health Savings Account.

  • Dental Insurance
    Whether you need routine exams or major dental work, CDW’s dental plans through CIGNA Dental provide coverage to meet your needs.

  • Supplemental Vision Insurance
    Enrolling in the CDW Vision Plan – administered by VSP – is a way to supplement your basic vision coverage, which is available when you enroll in one of the CDW health plans.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts
    Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to pay for certain healthcare and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

  • Smoking Cessation Program
    CDW is pleased to offer CDW coworkers and their dependents free memberships to QuitNet, the most comprehensive, personalized smoking cessation service on the Web.

  • CDW@Play and Subsidized Fitness Center Memberships
    CDW has its own on-site fitness center, CDW@Play, at our Corporate Headquarters to keep you in shape. CDW may also partially subsidize dues for some off-site fitness centers for coworkers who do not have access to CDW@Play.


Financial Security

  • 401(k) Plan
    The 401(k) plan allows you to defer a portion of your salary pre-tax. Employer matching contributions may be made to coworkers who make 401(k) contributions to the plan during the plan year and remain employed at CDW on the last day of the plan year.

  • Profit Sharing
    Our financial performance against our annual plan determines CDW’s ability to award a discretionary profit sharing contribution.

  • Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
    CDW provides automatic coverage at one times your annual salary up to a maximum of $100,000 (minimum coverage of $35,000).

  • Supplemental Life Insurance
    You have the option to purchase additional life insurance coverage for you and your eligible dependents.

  • Supplemental AD&D Insurance
    You have the option to purchase additional accidental death and dismemberment coverage for you and your eligible dependents.

  • Short Term and Long Term Disability
    These company-paid benefits may provide income protection to you in the event you are unable to work due to a non-occupational injury or illness.

  • Long Term Care
    Long Term Care insurance is designed to pay for assistance with activities of daily living such as eating or dressing. This type of care is usually necessary after a disabling accident, chronic illness or cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer's disease.


Work / Life

  • Time Away from Work:
    This includes paid vacation, sick, personal, holidays, community service day, maternity and paternity time.

  • Day Care Center:
    CDW has a fully-equipped day care center on-site at our Corporate Headquarters for use by our coworkers.

  • Back-up and Priority Access Childcare Programs:
    For all CDW locations where there is a Bright Horizons center nearby, coworkers are able to use that facility on a temporary basis. CDW subsidizes this program. The fee is only $15 per day per child or $25 per day per family. Each CDW family can use this benefit up to 20 times per year.

  • EAP - Employee Assistance Program:
    Services for coworkers and their dependents include free short-term counseling, legal consultations, financial counseling, child care referrals and pet care referrals.

  • Adoption Assistance:
    Adoption assistance is available for the adoption of a child who is under age 18 or who is physically or mentally incapable of caring for himself or herself.

  • Subsidized On-Site Cafeteria:
    The CDW Cafeteria provides a wide array of tasty, affordable meals (at our Corporate Headquarters and Mettawa, Illinois locations only).

  • Dry-Cleaning Drop-Off:
    Drop off and pick up your dry-cleaning at CDW.

    Celebrating Service is a program that recognizes your loyalty and long-term commitment to CDW.

  • Coworker of the Month (COTM)
    The Coworker of the Month program is designed to recognize coworkers across CDW who are team players that go above and beyond their job responsibilities to help fellow coworkers, vendors, and customers.

  • Coworker of the Year (COTY)
    The twelve Coworkers of the Month meet to celebrate their honor of going above and beyond the normal job scope and exemplifying CDW’s values. These twelve individuals choose one amongst themselves to be recognized company-wide as the Coworker of the Year.

  • Discounted Product Purchases
  • Coworkers may purchase any of the products we sell at discounted prices. Discounted pricing is available only on products that coworkers or their immediate families will use themselves.

  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • CDW will reimburse up to 100% (for grades “A” and “B”) and 50% (for grade “C”) at post-secondary institutions for job-related undergraduate and graduate degree-related courses taken by a coworker. Annual maximums apply.

  • Charitable Match Program
  • CDW is proud to be a company that gives to the community. CDW welcomes the opportunity to support the causes that are important to our coworkers. CDW will set aside up to $100,000 every year to match the donations of our coworkers to charitable and educational institutions of their choice.

  • Annual Events
  • Summer Picnic and Coworker Appreciation Day

  • Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day long from our full-service coffee bars.

  • Sports Team Sponsorships
  • CDW can sponsor your sports team up to $250, as long as every team member is a current CDW coworker.
