What Are Telecommunications Services?

We partner with top vendors such as Sprint, CenturyLink (Qwest), Masergy & Level 3 (Global Crossing) to provide you with state of the art voice communication and wide area network and data solutions. With access to 70 carriers and 600 data centers domestically and internationally, CDW·G consistently saves clients 10–30% by being one of the largest direct agencies/brokers of telecommunication services in the world.

What Comprises Telecommunication Services?

Our Telecommunications Specialists are here to help define and scope your voice and data needs. We want to connect you with a provider that can meet your requirements domestically and internationally. Our experienced carrier service specialists are up to date on the latest technologies and trends, giving them the knowledge and experience to make solid recommendations based on your needs.

We offer:

Internet Connections (IP Services)

The size and type of an Internet connection determines the speed and bandwidth available for data transmission. Popular connections for small to medium organizations include DSL and T1 circuits. Larger organizations often utilize DS3, OCX, Ethernet, and custom fiber options.

Wide Area Network (WAN) Connections

WAN connection options include legacy services such as Frame Relay or Private line. More recent and popular services are multi‑protocol label switching (MPLS), VPLS, and other IP‑based VPN technologies.

SIP Trunking

SIP Trunking provides a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) interface directly into the VoIP‑enabled PBX, reducing unnecessary conversions and costs. SIP Trunking offers numerous advantages over traditional local services. For instance, SIP Trunking provides up to 48 concurrent calls on a single 1.5 Mbps delivery method—traditional PRIs provide up to only 23 calls using the same amount of bandwidth.

Hosting Voice Over IP (VoIP)

Feature rich applications, such as call management, softphone, or single number search applications, can enhance an existing investment in VoIP, making it a powerful strategy by increasing productivity and reducing administrative and operational costs.

Telecom Expense and Inventory Management

Our Telecom Expense and Inventory Management services put time‑consuming administrative tasks in the hands of a third party, enabling valuable internal staff to focus on issues that can truly advance productivity.
