APC Smart-UPS provide backup battery power during power outages and continuously safeguard devices from fluctuating power conditions and surges. With premium protection and simplified management, the 1500VA UPS ensures consistent and reliable connectivity at the most critical moments.


Scalable Battery Runtime for Power Outages

With 8 outlets and a compatibility with external battery packs, this server UPS provides uninterrupted and scalable battery power to connected electronics. Connect to 5of the SMX48RMBP2U external battery packs to increase the amount of time the UPS can provide battery power to devices (battery packs sold separately).


Save Time with Easy Monitoring and Management

Use the intuitive LCD interface and PowerChute software to configure settings and monitor usage. A SmartSlot in the back of the UPS offers the option to add a network management card to remotely manage the UPS over the network (network cards sold separately).


Convenient Installation

The SMX1500RM2UNC converts from a tower or stand-alone UPS to a rack mount UPS, offering flexibility in various installations. Package contains: UPS, CD with software, Documentation CD, Installation guide, Rack mounting hardware, Rack mounting support rails, Removable support feet, Smart UPS signalling RS-232 cable, Temperature probe & USB cable


High Efficiency

This 1500watt ups offers an grreen mode to ensure you are operating at the highest level of efficiency while it’s smart battery management maximizes performance. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) adjusts voltages ensuring reliable power while preserving battery life.

Predictive battery management provides an estimated date of when battery replacement is recommended.

They provide great support and really help us maximize the productivity. We have used them to run the EMR servers and Network Doctor really makes the process easy to order APC equipment, get them installed and get new servers up and running. I recommend the Network Doctor to install APC UPS equipment.

It has that sweet spot of value and features, divided by the cost, that probably no other product, particularly other UPSes, offers. You should definitely consider this UPS if you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck, at least with 120V input connection. You will like it!
