The last ink cartridge I bought from HP though I have purchased all my ink cartridges for 10 years for my HP printer from HP - the last one from them my HP printer did not like each and every time. I know, I'm an idiot, why didn't I return it. I thought I knew better than the printer. I knew where I bought it so it had to be fine. I'm fine now. This new carthridge is authentic. I can print without protest from my brave little printer.

About a week ago I purchased HP 02 Magenta Original Ink Cartridge from HP store online and right after installation it was only 85% full. Tried to return it online and by chat,but nothing worked! I will not waste more of my time to call or do anything else,but I am sure now my next printer,PC,laptop or whatever i buy definitely will Not be HP !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They went above and beyond. I have an old printer, Hp photosmart C6280 all in one, I have a hard time getting individual ink cartridges in the local stores. I have to by the box set when I only want one, Magenta. I went on line and put in my printer name and the only thing that came up was HP 636XL tri color. Thinking "OK three colors are better then 6 in the big box" I ordered it. Lets be clear I know nothing about printers, ink cartridges. Low and behold it was the wrong one. I called the phone number on the receipt and a very nice lady listened to me (without a snicker I might add) and looked up the correct one I needed. HP-HP 02. And then, angels singing, said since my order was not over $50.00, I didn't need to send it back and they would credit my card for the purchase. I told her I had no use for it and I would send it back. She sent me a e-mail with the required information to take to Fed-Ex. I then ordered 2 Magenta 02 and they came within two days. Right before Christmas! I was amazed. So now I'm good to go and will recommend HP.com to anyone who will listen.

I have used other brands however, I am a permanent HP cartridge user because the others had failed me too many times. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prints OK, but... It appears to be functioning O K but it has the worst printer paper drawer and print reviver trays I have ever had on an HP printer. You have to jiggle the tray to open it and the tray is stuck closing it and is so hard to close unless you get it just right you move the entire printer on the desk. In my opinion it might be just a $180.00 piece of junk, time will tell.

I ordered a new magenta but found a cartridge still available in my drawer about the color of magenta which I matched to what was in my printer and installed the cartridge. It was pinkish and turned out to not be the proper magenta cartridge. I note that your cartridge system fails to print the real color (or even some color code) or any name or number "on the cartridge" that positively identifies the cartridge color. Some kind of Identifier is definitly needed to prevent similar errors !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink doesn't last as long as advertised. I bought this ink cartridge about 14 months ago. I might have printed 30-40 color pages (not photos) with it before it ran out of ink. It is advertised to print approximately 370 pages. I keep the printer on all the time; it goes through its programmed functions to keep the ink from drying out. I can see that the Cyan and Yellow cartridges I purchased at about the same time are almost out of ink too. I guess if it had been under 12 months, HP would have exchanged it for me.

This is the only time I have had trouble with ink cartridges ordered from you and I was surprised and disappointed. Either it was a very old cartridge or a defective one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New HP 02 magenta ink cartridge I ordered the HP 02 Magenta Ink Cartridge for my old HP Photosmart C=6150 All-in-One Printer. After receiving the ink cartridge my printer would still not work and I was getting a message Ink System Failure. I called Tech Support and it was determined that my old Printer had some Hardware Issues. This printe is about 6 years old give or take a year. The Tech Support to trouble shoot the printer and fix it was about $25.00 and possibly more if the printer was fixable. I could get a new printer for abut $100 more so this is what I did. The only problem I now have is I bought a new ink cartridge that I can not use and I have some other cartridges that I can not use. The timely service from HP Home & Home Office Store was excellent. My new HP Photosmart 7510 Printer is installed and looks and operates great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from problems My printer would not recognize this cartridge for a couple weeks, It would print the color on the test page, but NOT when I would go to print an item My son sent me an article on how to override the error message, and I had to try that 6 times before it finally worked. Had to turn on printer, unplug the USB cord from both printer and computer, unplug power cord, wait 30 seconds, turn power back on,turn printer back on, and plug in both USB cords.... No technical people that I talked to could help... This is the first time it has happened in all the years I have been using HP products.

Checking the levels on the HP Photosmart D7260, the ink level was indeed down to 4% so I knew delaying was not a wise idea and put in my computer order quickly, less than five minutes.

I installed the Magenta and Cyan cartridges today and my printer only showed about 90% full even though there were NEW!!! EVERY other HP 02 ink cartridge that I have EVER purchased for this printer has ALWAYS reflected 100% full and I've had this printer for years. Since it's getting harder and harder to find HP 02 ink and then to not have them full is unacceptable to say the least. I normally try to buy the HP 02xl cartridges, but they are almost non-existent for purchase anywhere. Staples say they have them, but when you try to order them, they appear as out of stock. I can't understand WHY HP can't keep making ink for their older printers. They are forcing us to buy new printers when the ones we have are working perfectly with absolutely no problems. Maybe time to look elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It still works but after changing out all the ink, it did work better but not acceptable. Can you recommend a new printer? This one has served me well and I would like to stay with HP. It did a good job of printing out my grandchildren's pictures. But not so good now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What are you going to do? The printer is the best I have ever had. So if the only HP ink it takes is the HP 02 one is stuck. Of all the printers on the market this has the best color. I agree with the other reviews, it is expensive for the quick use of the ink. But the results are outstanding. Other non HP inks that fit the 02 model don't last long either but they are cheaper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cartridge was not completely full Immediately after receiving the cartridge, I ran a diagnostic test report and the ink level of the cartridge showed that it was at 85%. Isn't it supposed to be at 100%? Should I return it for a another that is 100%? Am I entitled to any compensation? I have been a loyal HP user for over 10 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cartridge not full When I installed the cartridge and looked at the supply levels this brand new cartridge was about 80% full. This is not the first time it has happened. Please check your quality control and make sure that new cartridges are full.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good but expensive The Photosmart performs well but the ink is too expensive. This is further aggravated because when I select "Black only" it still prints in color. Because of the high cost for ink I will consider other manufacturers for my next purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank you It was great to find single color cartridges for sale on Amazon. Both Staplea and Walmart now only sell Black and a set of color cartridges. That made it an expensive as I only needed one color at a time. I was close to buying a new printer to correct the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from can't find HP 02 ink in stores any longer I cannot find HP 02 ink cartridges in stores any longer. I have a perfectly good functioning HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One printer....I still need HP 02 Cyan and it is not even available on your site. When will you have a sale?
