Breaking the distance barrier, the XL-1010 FastCopper provides a symmetrical 9.2Mbps up to 10, 000 ft (3km)! The XL-1010 operates over single pair copper wire at 4.6Mbps, or bond two pairs of copper wire for 9.2Mbps. Two bonded pairs provide double the data rate, fault tolerance and automatic load balancing for optimal performance.
The XL-1010 supports 24AWG and 26AWG telephone grade wire. Automatic rate adaption up to 9.2Mbps with no special configuration allows anyone to install and use the XL-1010 FastCopper extender.
Bandwidth hungry applications such as video streaming, video conferencing, and LAN-to-LAN can be extended over greater distances on existing copper wire. With the high performance and transparent learning bridge, the XL-1010 is ideal for extended LAN applications.
