K-12 Schools Libraries E-Rate Program
Transform Your Classroom into a Digital Learning Playground
The E-Rate program helps make digital transformation in schools possible by providing discounts on services and products that enable classrooms and libraries to receive communications services.
E-Rate is administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). For an overview of the program, visit the Funds for Learning or the USAC websites.
In 2014, the FCC released two Orders updating the E-Rate program. The changes shifted funds to focus more on the increased broadband needs in classrooms and libraries.
These changes have given schools across the country the ability to apply for funds to supplement their budgets for the internal connections that support digital learning, online testing and collaboration.
