Handle websites, online meetings, data and real-time audio/video streaming with the Adobe® Connect® Central Application server. Installation is made as a J2EE web app for the Tomcat servlet engine and includes Adobe AEM and Adobe Gateway® (for Universal Voice™). The Adobe Connect Server lets you manage on-demand content, client sessions and user groups. It assists with security tasks, access control, interaction quotas and product licensing. Administrators can use the system for replication, failover and clustering functions without load reduction.
Use the Adobe Connect software to convert Microsoft® PowerPoint™ and audio files. The Adobe Media Server (AMS) component manages rich-media document delivery and data synchronization. It also supports playback, meeting recording and transcoding data for live screen sharing. It employs Adobe's Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP).
