APC Smart-UPS provide backup battery power during power outages and continuously safeguard devices from fluctuating power conditions and surges. With premium protection and simplified management, the 750VA UPS ensures consistent and reliable connectivity at the most critical moments.


Scalable Battery Runtime for Power Outages

With 8 outlets and a compatibility with external battery packs, this server UPS provides uninterrupted and scalable battery power to connected electronics. Connect up to 5 of the SMX48RMBP2U external battery packs to increase the amount of time the UPS can provide battery power to devices (battery packs sold separately).


Save Time with Easy Monitoring and Management

Use the intuitive LCD interface and PowerChute software to configure settings and monitor usage. A SmartSlot in the back of the UPS offers the option to add a network management card to remotely manage the UPS over the network (network cards sold separately).


Convenient Installation

The SMX750 converts from a tower or stand-alone UPS to a rack mount UPS, offering flexibility in various installations.


High Efficiency

This 600 watt ups offers an green mode to ensure you are operating at the highest level of efficiency while it’s smart battery management maximizes performance. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) adjusts voltages ensuring reliable power while preserving battery life.


Additional Specifications

Predictive battery management provides an estimated date of when battery replacement is recommended.

I own other APC products with which I am very satisfied and this is no exception. Minor complaints: There is no way to turn off the display on this unit. The power management software interface, which opens in a web browser, does not load as fast as the PowerChute Personal Edition, although it has much more information.

My PC has a newer Active PFC power supply and would not work with my older UPS which did not output a pure sine wave. I also usually have one or two other dedicated servers I use for software development.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent qualityI have a Dell Studio XPS 435T/9000, and because of its 'unique' power supply, requires a pure sine wave output on battery backup. I've had all kinds of APC UPS products, but they all had stepped up sine wave output, so I had to purchase this model.It works perfectly (as has every other APC product I've ever had). Many options and some require reading a page or two of the manual. Once everything is setup, you never have to worry about it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from APC Smart-UPS X 750VAI have been selling a ton of these lately and all my customers seem to love it. I have received nothing but positive reviews and no returns on this. "Smart, efficient, and easy to use" is the most common response I have gotten from my customers. I have sold this to offices with only 10 employees all the way to Enterprise locations. The only negative comment I hear was "There is no way to turn off the display on this unit".
