I have used Windows and Apple Macintosh computers for years and find this laptop compatible. Easy to use and it updates the Crome OS automatically. The Google App Store as a app for almost anything you need. I highly recommend this laptop that was awarded PC Magazines Editor Choice.

Here's what I like best: fast boot-up, silent operation, sleek design, snappy performance, dual speakers, good battery life, integration across Google platforms and devices. I would would recommend an Asus Chromebook to anyone looking for a solid, simple internet experience. Disclosure: I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive! My first Chromebook and I'm impressed on how easy it was to perform the start-up steps. Plug it in, turn it on, follow on- screen instructions. Be sure to have your WiFi password handy. The screen resolution, brightness, contrast and color saturation is perfect, right out of the box. I simplied signed in with my Android phone Google account info and it activated the Chromebox nicely. Browsing is simple. All the needed icons are front and centered at the bottom, couldn't be easier. Speed is excellent. No delays or hangups. For my efforts in filing this review, Asus gives an extended warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to navigate Decided on less bells and whistles for my Chromebook as I'm now retired and don't need all the software. Came from fully loaded Windows 10 Lenovo with CD drive, touchscreen etc. to some of the basics. I'm still trying to locate some files that are downloaded but it's getting easier. Good/bad in that there are no icons on desktop - I tend to clutter the desktop so it's probably better that I don't have it. I'm with other reviewers complaint that the Shelf icons are too big. Hopefully they will give option to minimize. I had a problem two days ago getting the connection to charge the battery. Not sure if that's a going concern., if so I'll have to contact customer service. Using it every day now and so far so good. Hot keys are fairly good - still figuring some of them out. Much lighter to pick up with one hand than the other laptop which is nice. Would recommend to others - the 'less is more' is good for me. Hardly ever used the cd drive other than itunes copying. I hope it lasts a few years - got it on sale so I'm happy so far. Will not give 5 stars as it's still only been a couple of months - could possibly review again after one year.
