This versatile Driver connects to DB9 RS-232 interfaces and gives you speeds up to 115.2kbps. You can use it in point-to-point and multipoint configurations—and use either 2 or 4-wire cable.
The Mini Driver MP9 can handle up to 50 terminal drops in a multipoint environment. For RS-485 and serial-printer applications requiring hardware handshaking, the Driver passes one control signal in each direction. Set impedance for high or low and the carrier to “constantly on“ or “controlled by RTS“. Best of all, since the Driver is powered from the interface, it requires no AC power or batteries.
