Designed for high-end multimedia applications, the HD View is a truly modular transmission system for extending video, audio, and serial control over CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, or proposed CAT7 cable. The HD View system includes transmitters, receivers, and line splitters for delivering single or multiple channels of high-def video and stereo audio to remote plasma/LCD screens, which makes them great for distributing media in digital signage setups.
Mix and match HD View units to send video at varying distances to one or more areas of your AV distribution or digital signage application. The transmitter featured has eight RJ-45 ports, enabling you to communicate with eight receivers at eight different screens located as far as 360 feet (109.7 m) or even 1000 feet (304.8 m) away (depending on the receivers you order).
The system enables you set up an elaborate configuration with multiple HD View receivers linked to multiple splitters and as many as 128 screens. The system's daisychainable, long-range 2-port receiver links a second remote screen and another segment. The HD View family also has support for DDC, which gives you optimal player-to-screen configurations. Out-of-band management frees the network for video transfer, and with RS-232 control, you can use simple commands to turn one or more screens on and off, preserving your screens and maximizing your system's life.
