SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT
This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Deploy custom image onto a desktop or notebook system
•Initiate Active Directory domain join
•Provide secure housing for customer provided deployment server(s) and VPN appliance or virtual server and VPN concentrator
•Provide Internet connectivity to customer deployment server and VPN hosted at CDW Configuration Center
•Provide resources to assist in the testing and validation of infrastructure against customer provided build instructions
•Notify customer of configuration issues the same day the issue is discovered
•Provide Basic Configuration Services Project Management/Project Coordination
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Provide CDW with licensed operating system and licensed software application that can be imaged onto a desktop or notebook, and is supported by the hardware manufacturer
•Provide CDW with a fully configured deployment server (hardware & software) and a fully configured Site-to-Site VPN appliance to be hosted at CDW or utilize virtual server and VPN concentrator connection service
•Provide written documentation on the configuration process that CDW is to follow
•Provide CDW limited access to customer environment required to execute image build sets
•Manage and support deployment server and VPN appliance hardware (if applicable), software and firmware
•Electronically sign the CDW Software Indemnity Agreement http://www.cdw.com/forms/indemnity/app.aspx
OUT OF SCOPE
•Installation of hardware components and/or software beyond installing the image (available as a separate service)
•Assistance in configuring or maintaining deployment server(s)
CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms and Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein.
