SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT
This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• The device required for install will be unboxed.
• The device will be thoroughly inspected for physical damage or blemishes.
• Any defective components will be replaced from CDW’s inventory.
• The device will be updated to the latest/approved Chrome OS release by performing full update to latest stable channel release version at time of configuration.
• The device will be enrolled to the customer’s domain by performing Enterprise enrollment and validation.
• The device will have network configuration settings verified (Wi-Fi SSID and Pre-Shared Key) for network policy fetching.
• A customer provided asset tag will be applied to device next to serial number unless otherwise specified by the customer.
• The customer asset tag reference number will be captured along with serial number of the product into CDW’s Order processing system and will be auto-synced to Customer’s CDW Extranet Asset Management page.
• All configurations undergo a comprehensive Quality Control process.
• The successfully configured device will be re-boxed for shipment.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Customer will purchase a Chrome Management license.
• Customer will create a Chrome Admin Management account in Google Admin Console.
• Customer will create a dedicated enrollment user account.
• Customer will create a Limited Admin user account.
• Customer will complete CDW Chrome White Glove Service questionnaire.
• Customer will provide asset tags to Seller.
ASSUMPTIONS
• Seller’s Account Manager will create a RMA to receive customer’s asset tags.
• Seller will manage customer provided asset tags in secured cabinet.
• Seller’s Account Manager will create install configuration and include service EDC(s).
• Seller’s Account Manager will enter specific any additional instructions in to the Installation Notes on the order
OUT OF SCOPE
• Move device to customer defined sub organizational unit.
• CDW customized asset tag.
• CDW/CDWG standard asset tag.
• Configuration of any network settings.
• Data capturing, other than device’s serial number and asset number into system.
• Installation of software application.
• Installation of any hardware components.
• Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities.
• Performing any Services not specified herein.
SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order
PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties
CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms and Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
