Installation Service for ASA SourceFIRE software module and Configuration of SourceFIRE Defense Management Center
Installation of ASA SourceFIRE Service module includes:
• Upgrade the ASA SFR boot image to the recommended version
• Initial CLI Setup and Configuration of a boot software residing on a single ASA.
• Install the associated SFR software image on the ASA
• Configure management interface on the ASA to communicate with Defense Management Center
• Initial CLI Setup and Configuration of software image residing on a single ASA
• Register the ASA SFR software module with SourceFIRE Defense Management Center
• Creation of a Service Policy Rule to direct traffic specified by the customer through the module
Installation Service for SourceFire Defense Management Center Service includes:
• Installation of SourceFIRE OVF into an existing and supported VMWare environment
• Upgrade the SourceFIRE Defense Management Center with applicable patches
• Configure interface(s) on the SourceFIRE Defense Management Center server
• Assist in establishing communications between the ASA management and the server
• Register the SourceFIRE Defense Management Center with the ASA SFR software module.
• Configure the appropriate detection mode required.
• Create update for rules, geolocation and backups
• Install purchased licenses
• Create appropriate variable sets
• Apply Basic Access, Intrusion, System, Health, and Network Discovery policies
• Configure sensing interface(s)
• Configure Basic URL filtering (if license was purchased)
• Assist in establishing communication with User Agent
• Configure the Defense Management Center to communicate with the LDAP environment
This Service does not include:
• Installation of supporting VMWare Environment or troubleshooting VMWare.
• Remediation of LDAP environment to support Directory Agent
• Configuration of the SSL Decryptor
• All manual tuning after initial discovery.
