Cisco Bottom Support Kit - network device accessory kit

The Cisco® Nexus 7009 Bottom Support Kit is part of the Cisco Nexus 7009 Accessory Kit. You can use it to mount the front chassis of the Cisco Nexus 7009 switch on a 4-post or 2-post rack. The Cisco bottom support kit comes with two front-mount rails to hold the switch chassis on its rack. Install the rails on the rack before you put on the chassis. The rails are compatible with Cisco Nexus 7009 center-mount brackets. The chassis requires 15 RU available on the rack, and the rails require 1 RU.

Installing the chassis on the rack requires a Philips screwdriver with torque capability. The network device accessory kit includes Philips-head screwdrivers in multiple sizes. The bottom-support rails allow installing the chassis inside a cabinet in the lowest possible space. The crossbar in the kit provides extra bottom support.
