Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrong Memory for Aspire Revo R3700 The Crucial Product Selector directs you to this memory, but it does not work on this machine. I returned it and got the correct memory (CT2G3S1339M.C8FKD 2GB DDR3L-1333 SODIMM MAC) and have asked Crucial to update their database. They handled the return very well and I have no complaints about their service. They just need to fix their recommendation database.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2gb 204 pin SODIMM DDR3 PC3-12800 I use this product daily as my previous RAM decided to die on its own causing A bsod screen. So far the new ram memory works flawlessly. I was going to take the computer to a repair store but their labor hourly rates are very expensive. My old friend who used to work at the repair stores told me about this website 10 years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product was wrong for my laptop, did not work I am sure the product would have worked in my laptop, but it was the wrong speed PC3-12800 1600 instead of PC3-8500 1066. It was suggested by Crucial to work in my laptop, so I bought it, but didn't work. Returning it, I received a replacement second, same speed PC3-12800, and IT did not work. Returned it also. Bought PC3-8500 from another vendor, it DID work. Nothing wrong with PC3-12800, just not made to work with my laptop. Notified Crucial as to their Memory suggestion being wrong for that particular laptop.

It was amazing to me just how much adding an inexpensive upgrade like a little RAM gave this PC a huge boost! This was not purchased as a gift and I am not being compensated for writing this. Just a good old fashioned Linux hobbyist trying to get the most out of hardware that others discarded. "One man's trash is another man's treasure." If you believe in that, then the key to the treasure chest was the RAM from Crucial.

(There should be quite an email trail for this transaction.) Ultimately, I decided that the benefit would be inconsequential and the return was too much hassle.

I'm using BIOS Revision A09 and DO NOT receive any notices of imcompatible memory from the BIOS, which I did recieve when using different recommended Crucial memory on a Dell Optiplex 960.
