Rated 5 out of 5 by from The dell active pens performance. The pen is light but well balanced at the same time. It definitely takes some getting used to, at least for me anyway. the XPS 15 of mine + the active pen is the perfect combo. Keep up the good work dell these are some beautiful machines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Active pen that did not work with my laptop I was assured by the Dell customer service that this pen will work with my Inspiron 15 5000 series 2-in-1 5591, that is why I ordered this pen. Unfortunate after set the pen did not work so I shipped it back to you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible I bought three and none of them works. The Coin cell battery swollen up and I bought new batteries, but it still doesn't work. This is just a horrible product and dell really needs to step their game up with this pen because it is not a good pen. I have the Dell 7285 and it is an amazing machine, but the pens are just terrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Active Pen PN557W for Latitude 7285 tablet. Pen is easy to handle, very light weight. However, battery installation takes some practice and requires two different types of batteries. Follow the diagrams. Overall not bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would go lower if possible.... Huge issues with connectivity. Does not connect easily, drops connectivity often. Also the ease of writing does not compare with some of the other tablet/stylus combinations available in the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible Pen Our school math office is using them. We are going through a pen every 2 weeks on average. I try and be very careful with the pen, but normal use (setting the pen down on a desk) seems to damage the pen. I use the pen a great deal in conjunction with OneNote. The pen quickly becomes unusable as it will lag so badly you cannot spell out a single word or even letter. Or the pen leaves trace lines so that block letters appear as if someone tried to write without ever lifting the pen. I cannot say how disappointed I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely limited This works in Microsoft apps, but little else. Don't think you can use it in Photoshop because it won't work and Dell does not support it. It will not substitute for a mouse or other pointing device. Seriously overpriced for what it does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Limited Functionality, poor drivers Limited functionality, poor drivers, terrible sensitivity......paired it with $3K tablet and it is a poor imitation of what I get on my iPAD Pro. Does little with things like Illustrator or other tablet/pen creative needs. Seems totally geared for note taking and even that has limited functionality with drivers to set up the buttons etc..Super hard to sort out the batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor text recognition. I hoped this would allow me to write freehand to convert to digital text. I write as neatly as possible with the stylus, but my Dell Latitude rarely recognizes what I'm trying to say. Not worth the effort, technology's not there yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine. Solid product Put the batteries in and it has worked fine from the start. Basic pen and very similar design and feel to the MS Surface pen. Getting the batteries in correctly was the only slight delay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unrealiable and frustrating It's bad enough that this is like 1 of 2 pens that can be used on my laptop with no other options. But this pen is even worse. I've had four of them and the first didn't turn on, the second worked for like a month and then stopped working, the third wouldn't turn on, and the fourth I got to work for like 2 weeks and now it's not working either. For an expensive pen you'd think that you could idk.... use it???? Fix this dell. I'm trying to take notes on my laptop for college. Might have to get another laptop just so I can take notes with a pen that works.

Sometimes I have to remove the pen from bluetooth and reconnect it to get it to work and sometimes that doesn't even work. The barrel buttons work fine. I can use those but I paid extra to have the extra buttons.
