The DAE is a highly available, high-performance, high-capacity, disk-array storage system that uses a Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) as its interconnect interface. Its modular, scalable design provides additional disk storage as your needs increase. The enclosure is a sheet-metal housing with a front panel, a midplane, front door, and slots for the disk modules, link control cards, power supplies, and drive fan pack.
