Can't Save document
I installed the drivers successful by the instruction, but when I finished ONE KEY SCANNED, it can't save to the specific document, it was cancelled saving immediately when it showed "saving". I really became cazy for this problem and have tried many times "uninstall/install" software.

Easiest to use
This Scanner saves me hours each week. out of 200,000 scans lifespan it have already used 149875 scans and it keeps working very well. The paper handling and software make this an exceptional unit. I have tried multiple brands and this model and brand works the best of them all. The only one that matches it is much more expensive at over $6000. I suggest this make and model above all others I have used.

Fast!!!!
We had a flatbed scanner and it was very time consuming. This scan is a breath of fresh air and add so much time to my day to complete other needed task around the office.

Difficult MAC activation
Tried to install on a Mac desktop and was having difficulties connecting to the device. With each attempt to retry device installation a new set of instructions was given. Very strange that the process was different each time. Luckily the third time it finally connected with that set up process. When setting up on the windows desktop it was again ANOTHER set up process, completely different from the Mac set up. This one allowed for testing product functionality before finishing setup. Very strange! The Mac only allows for scanning initiated from the computer, where the Windows allows for scanning from the device.

Cannot install software
Downloaded the recommended combo software from Epson web site. Executed the software, but half way through, failed due to "no internet connection". The internet was fine to download the software and all other applications.

Difficult to Set Up, but a fast scanner
This scanner is difficult to set up. It took me to 3 times to unstall and install the software until it connects to my network and laptop, but once you get it going, it is a faster scanner. I just hope it works as long as my ScanSnap scanner.

I LOVE THIS SCANNER
I have been looking for a fast, easy to use scanner for a long time. This scanner is small, has an attractive non-bulky appearance, and scans fast! It’s also very easy to setup unlike most printer/scanners I’ve purchased. Extremely happy with this product and highly recommend.

Excellent scanner BUT only when it scans!
When it works it works fantastically, scans in documents, fast, straight and clear. But every now and then it just refuses to connect to the network. I don't know what happens but all of a sudden it doesn't work and I have to go through hours of attempting to reconnect. Of course it always happens in the middle of something. The last one I had I ended up throwing through a wall due to the chronic connectivity issue. But I did decide to get it again, only one staples had on the shelf. Maybe better luck next time, although not looking promising as a hard time connecting.
