Rated 5 out of 5 by from questionable design My physical therapist recommended a product like this, and it works well. But the overall design is not very practical. The on-off switch and fan-speed controls sit under the platform overhang, so to see to adjust it, I have to crawl under my desk (not easy with bum knees) just to turn it on and to make the adjustments. A better design, it seems to me. would be to have the controls on the top of the platform to one side so I could easily see and tap the power switch with my foot and adjust the fan speed with a rocker switch as well (especially since there are only two levels for the fan). Or a remote control would also work well. I would recommend this product to others--with reservations--letting them know about what I perceive as design flaws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Investment Because I am such a short stature person, my feet seem to hang when I am sitting in my chair at work. The Climate Control Footrest was such a great investment. I do not have to worry about my feet swelling at the end of the day and it just makes walking at the end of a long day much easier for me. The heat from the footrest keeps my feet from hurting. I recommend this product to those who have problems with there feeting swelling. You can not go wrong!!!!!

We work in a building that is very open so does not evenly keep the temperature at a comfortable level. With this footrest, I can keep my area at a level comfortable to me. It is not loud when in operation so does not bother those around me. Seriously, thinking about buying one for my home! Best invention ever!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Climate Control Footrest I was really eager to get this footrest unit under my desk and try it out. Admittedly, I have terrible posture. When I work at a desk all day, my body compresses in on itself leaving me with the most horrendous headaches. So any product that hints at relief is something that I'm willing to try.This foot rest is a god-send! I always have cold feet, it's so bad sometimes that I have to sit on my feet to warm them up. But then I get leg cramps. This foot rest keeps my feet and calves nice and toasty warm!!! I love that it automatically turns off because I have left it on more times than I would liked to have. The only negative thing I could say about this is that there isn't a way to indicate at eye level that the foot warmer is on. Other than that I love, love, love, this foot rest!

I love this Climate Control Footrest, I'm on my feet a great part of the day so when I'm able to go to my office and sit down I have a wonderful treat in store for my feet. If it is cold, I can warm them, and if it is hot I can cool them off plus the ergonomic design of the bed of the footrest give your feet a great massage. I love this little piece of JOY!

When it is cold- and it is often cold in Portland, OR- I switch that machine on and pretty soon, I am toasty and feel like charging forward with my work. A small annoyance- cold feet or just plain cold- is removed and encourages productivity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from office with several units 3rd unit hopefully is the charm. 1st stop heating, fan only worked. 2nd would not come on after using for 2 weeks (per manual fail safe fuse disabled unit due to unsafe temp) Just received my 3rd unit. Hope it works longer than 2 weeks. Office have purchased 8 just in my department, most are working satisfactory but I just keep getting ones that quit working.

The climate control with heat and fan for cooling is a great idea and works well in our office where everyone's temperature runs different. I can have it on when I need to cool down from heat temps in office or when it is a bit chilly first thing in the morning.

This is perfect for the cold winter months. My feet are normally very cold. This foot rest also acts as a mini space heater for me too since I can't actually purchase a space heater, this works perfectly.

I am also the only person in my office who likes temps to be above 70. I was using a letter size file box as a footrest...so this little guy was perfect for me! It keeps me warm (more than just my feet) and keeps my feet/legs from getting fatigued. I love the little knobs and grooves as a mini foot massage as well.

Not only does the footrest provide cool air but it also provides dimples that allows you to get a foot massage while you work. This relieves some of the tension of the work day. GREAT product.

We are very concerned with safety and this is the only heater that they would allow us to purchase. It is great. It warms under my desk and doesn't make it too hot - just right. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty toes Sitting at a metal desk on a concrete pad with my office abutting an unheated warehouse wall necessitated the need for some type of heat on my frozen feet-especially when the temperature drops down to the single digits. I like the raised footrest and the fact that the fans help circulate the heat around my legs underneath the desk as well. I think this is much better than a flat foot warming pad. The price was right, and it arrived within one day of placing the order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more cold feet! Every time the door opens to our office, the cold air swoops across the floor and chills our feet. Needing to replace our space heaters, we decided to see what other options we had. We discovered the Climate Control Footrest, and it seemed like a solution to our problem. We ordered three for our office. We are all amazed and extremely happy with the footrest. First, it provides just the right amount and just the right temperature of warm air for our feet and legs. Secondly, in the summer, it can be changed to a cool fan. Thirdly, the footrest will automatically turn off after 8 continuous hours of operation so we won't burn down the office. Lastly, the bonus feature is that it is just the right height to prop our feet up on under our desks. We all love this footrest. No more cold feet!

Very happy with my purchase, but I do have some ideas for improvement: 1) would be nice to have foot-friendly (or remote) temperature controls (pretty easy to turn on/off with a toe, but temp isn't really possible) 2) would be nice if lowest height setting was lower 3) high temp setting is just a little too high, but medium is a little too low 4) I'd like the massage bumps to be a little smaller.

One of my main problems is feeling cold on my feet, but I can not use a heater because then I feel really comfortable. This product has the great advantage of being a footrest and at the same time a feet heater (in Winter) and a ventilator (in Summer). With this I have at the same time taken care of my lower back pain and my cold feet. Great product!

I have a couple of medical issues that result in either too cold or burning feet, and having a footrest that I can use the way I need it, when I need it is just a godsend item! Thank you, Fellowes, for always having the most amazing products! Now I have no need for 2-3 different products under may desk! This is absolutely amazing!!
