Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture I love this monitor. The curved screen really makes you feel as if you are in the scenes that I use as my wallpaper. The color is great and it is easy on the eyes. I seem to have less eyestrain with this monitor than I did with my glossy All-in-One monitor. I had an issue the 1st two weeks which I have not been able to determine if a PC or monitor issue, since I bought both at same time. When the PC woke up from sleep mode, the Monitor stayed blank (totally black) for about 15 minutes. This problem seems to have resolved itself over time, thankfully. I was really hesitant on purchasing a monitor with a curved display but I'm glad I did. Everything has clean edges and I am enjoying working on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDMI cable is only way to connect to a computer Just had a chance to unpack and install my new curved display and was surprised that the only way to connect it to my computer was with an HDMI cable. An HDMI cable was supplied however my computer does not have an HDMI port. Waiting until tomorrow (Monday) to contact HP and see where we go next.

Price wise, the 27b for me was the best bang for the buck. Relatively inexpensive compared with similarly sized curved displays. The clarity of the screen is what did it for me.

However, the set up instructions says, that cable is only included with select models. If your PC requires a DPC cable, be prepared to source one yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a very average monitor. Being a IPS display the colors are decent 99% srgb, although backlight bleeds through the edges of the monitor on both 27b's that I own. Lots of ghosting I would assume mostly from being 60hz, not a big deal, don't buy this for gaming. The curve is a nice to have. Worth 200$ max, I would not pay anything above that. I use these as secondary productivity displays and work great with a triple monitor setup. The vesa mount is a great addition as well. This is not a great monitor by any means, you really get what you pay for here.

I bought your displayport to HDMI adapter and one other but neither one would work. I ended up upgrading my my display card which had a display port on it and using a display to display cord. Everything appears to work well switching between 2 computers.

I am so very pleased with my purchase, HP never disappoints! I love the curved screen and the extra 2 inches. The only thing that I don't like is the power button on the back of the monitor. Inconvenient but definitively not a deal breaker. Thanks HP!

Got a good deal on this from HP, including an extended warranty. It arrived quickly and worked flawlessly as soon as I set it up and fired up the computer. Factory setting was a bight bright for me, so I adjusted that. No other issues. The gently curved screen is very easy to read and looks great — fine detail and superb color reproduction for photos.

Had some difficulty connecting to the HDMI/Displayport options (my HP Elitebook doesn't have HDMI (oddly), and Displayport does not seem to work through HP docking station), but got it worked out. Nice work HP.

I have used this one for a few weeks and found the colors and depth of the display to be perfect for my use and I don't even notice the curve.

A capacitor blow on the monitor board and I can't find anyone who want to make the repair. I read online that this is a common problem with HP monitor. I don't recommend you to buy it.

It's my first curved monitor and I have a like HP 27" flat monitor next to it. I'm not sure how I'll go back to flat monitors in the office. I'm not a gamer but for daily internet, office and other use this is a fantastic monitor for the price. Contemplating picking up another one to replace the flat monitor now.

Took a bit of dialing in after pairing it via hdmi with my elitebook (had to set quantization range to "full range" in my intel UHD graphics settings) but once that was done, the monitor shows perfect colors and crisp images. Have a hard time not sitting in front of the screen now! I use this for daily computing in the finance industry. Haven't tried gaming with it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issues with Sound I should have read the reviews first before purchasing. Monitor looks great and runs smoothly but for the sound. I bought these (2) for work to be compatible with our HP laptop while plugged into a docking station. Not plug and play apparently. Yes, it has speakers (vents); but our IT could not figure out how to turn on the sound (and all we use are HP products). He thinks that it only works with speakers. Unplugged them and followed all the useless support site instructions and googling help sites to no avail. Would not work with 3rd party displayport adapter since my work HP doesn't support HDMI - only worked when I bought an HP adapter. Manual (not included anymore) doesn't match product so that was useless as well. Ordered speakers (yes it has the software for it, Band & Olufsen). If updating the drivers and speakers don't work, these will be returned for the curved Samsung monitors since they're seamless plug and play (and backward technology) with even with HP laptops.

I read many reviews and was looking in the $150 range. It was hard to tell what was important (for me) as I'm not a gamer, or photographer or something like that. I decided to look in the next price point up and found this one with lots of great reviews. I've been using it about a week and am really happy with it. So easy to set up and use, and haven't had any issues.

Without the glasslike finish, images that don't belong on the screen don't appear, because it's not a reflective surface.So, I enjoy watching fully. And 27 inches gives a pretty immersive experience, especially if you just lay back with lights out. Of course, playing games and doing ordinary office work is a pleasure as well - with everything easy to see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead after 3 days...HP says its my fault? I rarely give one star reviews but you have to read this. Let me tell you what happened. 1. First, I buy an custom Omen desktop and this 27" display to build a gaming setup. Get the monitor first and it sits waiting for PC to show up. 2. Omen shows up and needs to get serviced after the first reboot. After 5 hours of my time, 3 support tickets and over a month after I bought the unit it finally shows up and I hook up the monitor. 3. All goes well for three days and then the monitor clicks and looks like the picture attached. I have to now call support again..(remember I only bought two things) both failed. I was frustrated but remembered that the Omen support team got the job done so surely HP will come through again. Unfortunately, after 2 hours and 5 transfers I am told I damaged the unit and it is not covered by warranty. It ran for a total of three days on my desk and then looked like the below on the fourth day. Since they wanted me to pay, I chose to ewaste this monitor and get another from different company. Omen support was great but both products ordered failing and having to get a run around makes this a negative customer and product experience.

I have NO complaints. I love it. I don't use it for gaming or anything that would push it to its limits but for regular home use and movie streaming its great!
