Good ink for an even better printer
I ordered online from HP.com and got delivery in less than a week. Installed and printed as expected. This is for a DeskJet 970 that's about 17 years old and has been my primary printer. It's still going strong, I am extremely pleased with this printer.

Long Lasting!
I just bought the real HP ink after using the generic brands. Actually, my HP printer would no longer work with the cheap ink. Wondering if this is a feature of all HP printers? However, I'm glad I switched back and have no more "out of ink" problems.

Thank God you’re still selling the ink for my old printer (1993) best printer and great ink 1000 pages per black cartridge. I couldn’t be happier it’s still available. They don’t make printers like that anymore.

Ink Cartridge for an HP war horse
I'm still using the first printer (HP Deskjet 722C) I purchased. It's a war horse that has assisted with years of teaching, union negotiations, Statewide committee work, and volumes of files. When the local stores stopped stocking the in cartridges I stocked up on as many as I could find. Then the last one went dry. I didn't want to have to purchase a new printer. Fortunately, I discovered that HP still stocked ink cartridges. Within two days I was back in business. OK, my printer's not an AIO, and I have to hold onto an older computer to operate it, but it does an excellent job. Only thing better would be an updated driver for my new computer.

I put a new black cartridge into HP DeskJet 880C
The new cartridge in the old printer did not print. The DeskJet 880C was an incredibly fine product. HP will no longer give support to the printer. Probably the cartridge was fine. What's needed is a new printer.

All my printers have been HP's. They are a quality product. Being a retired senior citizen, I just wish the cartridges were more affordable. I purchased directly from HP this time since the last (2) that I purchased (cheaper) from Amazon were already 3 years old and they only lasted 4 months. Any way I can save on purchases?

I do trust your product.
I have used ink replacement cartridges and they seem to always leak. The last one I bought (I do not do this often) it leaked nearly all the ink into my HP printer. I will from now on use cartridges only from HP.

I have been a purchaser of HP products for many years and have never been disappointed. The HP 45 ink cartridge, along with the HP 78 ink cartridge, have supported my HP K80xi printer for many years now. Because my local source for those cartridges no longer carried them, I tried their refill service. Trustworthy backup
After having to use my G55 Officejet backup printer (which hadn't been in use for around 5 years), I was surprised to find that the 45 Black cartridge still had life in it and that it hadn't dried/clogged up from sitting idle. The 78 Color had already been depleted. Thankful that HP still sold the 45 and 78 cartridges. Purchased the 78XL Tri-Color for the first time. For general all purpose printing (including photos), I love these cartridges in lieu of the new 4-cartridge system.

I use black ink only. Prints beautifully and fast on DRAFT. Never use color. The printer does not use color at all when printing black (greyscale). This is unlike all 4 cartridge HP printers which use or need the 3 color cartridges operating even when printing in black only!

Works Extremely Well For Me
I'm so glad HP still sells this model ink for my older model 270 HP printer. No wireless, but it's still working after 21 years. This ink is fast drying & there is no lag time for it to"dry" like some of the newer ink jets have. Never any smudges or clumping with this ink. I wish HP sent the recycling bags out like they used to last year, so I can properly dispose of my used cartridges.

HP 45/78 Ink Streaking during occasional use
Both HP 45 and HP 78 ink tend to dry out very fast in an unused printer. Within two or three days without printing a page, the cartridges fade and streak upon use. I have had to clean the ink cartridges through the print service tab function to get it flowing again. This issue needs to be addressed by the HP design engineers to ensure adequate ink jet saturation under intermittent use.
