Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have a problem As you said, "I bought and received some 61 cartridges on Dec. 3rd, Order # H326656783. Today I had occasion to replace 1 Black and 1 Tri-Color. After replacing the color cartridge a notice kept appearing on the printer screen to replace the NEW Tri-color cartridge. Ink level indicator showed some ink in the cartridge. After retrying several times, I finally resorted to using the 2nd Tri-color cartridge which worked and I was able to resume printing. I am asking for a credit or replacement of the defective Tri-color replacement. Please advise as to how you want me to proceed. Thank you, David Nockels

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad choice I purchased a couple of tri-color cartridges a couple of months ago. Yesterday, I installed one of them in my printer, but it would not print in color. I tried everything that I could do, finally installed HP Print Doctor. That told me that I had a counterfeit cartridge or that the cartridge was out of ink. frustrated, I tried the old cartridge with same result. Finally I opened and installed the second new cartridge; that one worked. Why am I getting a message that the first cartridge was not an HP product when I bought it directly from the HP store?

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find I had 2 colored ink cartridges and no black - so my printer doesn't work yet. It was my fault, but I wish the packaging had been more dramatically clear.

When I removed the protective tape that comes on the cartridge the contacts started to peel off with it, and some of the adhesive stuck onto the working part of the ink head.

Such a frustrating and time consuming experience for something that should have taken only a few minutes.

Because of the lead male issues with US PS, my most recent order took more than twice as long to arrive, but I’m not complaining. It is possible to buy ink cheaper elsewhere but only for those who have the time and patience to do so. For me, ordering from HP is ideal.
