All I get is another alignment page. I put that one on the glass and . . . I press print and get another alignment page. I have 4 alignment pages, no way to know if ink cartridge is aligned . . . and way less ink than when I started.

We printed one black and white 4 x 5 inch photo with it. Didn't do the best job, but was acceptable. You could clearly see the line marks. A day later I just went to print a word document and now the printer acts and sounds like it's printing but only blank pages come out. The printer ink icon still reads the cartridge as full. Very confusing.

I print a lot of papers for my classes and I can go a long way without needed to purchase more. I think the best feature is the recycling bag that comes with it. HP supplies a bag to send them your old ink cartridges in order to recycle them and reduce waste and I think that it is one of the best features of their lasting products; the ability to recycle them and continue usage.

I am pretty sure that I bought a ink for hundreds of pages (maybe 200 or 300...), but after printing 20 pages it runs out. This printer and ink cartridge just gives people headache. Today on my 2nd printer I replaced an HP61XL also indicating half full. Sorry, but with this kind of experience I can't give your product a good rating and am seriously considering going to less expensive refills.

I used it for the first time and printed 30 pages and it is saying it's more than half empty now. You really need to advertise correctly. If i had known I'd only get about 50 pages out of it I would not have purchased it online.

I always get the original HP ink for my printer as those other no names could make your printer malfunction. If you own an HP printer stick with the ink that goes with your printer and it should last a long time. I had an HP Photosmart printer that lasted about 10-13 yrs and I still am not giving up on it and one day when I have the time I will take a look at it and try to fix the issue with it and get it up and running again. I like that you can buy separate ink tanks and not have to buy a whole set. The colors last , but for me the black runs out faster so I can just buy the black ink tank when needed. HP printer always use HP original ink cartridges so you will have no issues with your printer.

However, it simply doesn't seem to print many pages before running out. Perhaps I should try the 'High Yield' cartridge if it is available for this printer.

I have bought this numerous times with the same result and can't find another brand to try, if anyone knows of another cartridge to fit an HP Envy 5055 please comment!

That said the ink cartridge I bought arrived three days late, which I'll attribute to the difficult logistics during the pandemic. The order was correct and it works fine in my printer. One complaint I have is that the black ink cartridge that came with my printer lasted so poorly with only a few prints ever made. Hoping this new HP65 lasts longer. Also would like more detail in tracking info.

Tossed it in the recycle bag upset to have thrown away $17.99. Then I called Target. SO easy! Ordered, picked it up, o waiting. Target is my new go to. I will NEVER by any HP product again. It took a lot longer to get the color one. Then when I went to take out the old and install the new I had a heck of a time as there were no instructions on how to do it. I was so mad and frustrated because I had to keep guessing as to how to remove them. Then I had trouble getting the new ones in. It was not a good experience.

Within 6 months, and less than 10 sheets copied, it quit. Trouble shooting led to the last option, buying new black ink. That fixed it, but honestly he only got less than 10 sheets copied. I imagine the color will need replaced as well, but only need the black right now. It wasn't available in the walmart he bought the copier from so I ordered the $17.00 cartridge. I'm guessing the ink that came with the copier was old. So..... maybe include a coupon for free NEW replacement inks, with free shipping. The order itself, with free shipping, went very smoothly. I advised him to use it once a week to hopefully keep the ink flowing. Nothing in the instructions advised that, but it's our best hope to keep it working. Also, no instruction book came with it and he has no computer or smart phone. I am all for saving paper when possible, but I sure miss hands on instruction books. Thanks for asking. Shari

We are not frequent printers, but have one available for occasional stuff like DMV documents or text docs for work. HP support was absolutely no help. After several frustrating hours of trying to solve problem, I tried second cartridge and it worked! Never suspected faulty ink cartridge so I was only out about $20.

Of course I am always elated when I get new ink for my HP Envy. I do a lot of digital art. Then I laminate a copy of the good stuff I print up. HP provided a bag for me to stick my old cartridges in so I can ship them back to them for recycling and I think that is exquisite.

The black was excellent as always, but the color would not print red. I was trying to do some Santa pictures for the grandkids and Santa was dressed in yellow. Repeated attempts to contact customer service, one with a wait of over an hour and one with a 15 minute wait and I never did talk with a real person. I finally put in another tri-color cartridge and everything worked fine. There was a defect in the cartridge, but I could never reach anyone to get help for the problem.

Tring to access the directions on line are too hard to follow when I have to access my computer to perform the instructions. The first set I bought worked great----the next purchases left me with unusable black cartidges, mainly because the ink was dried up! I got very upset and so they sent me 2 new ones---one works, one doesn't!!! So I'll not used them anymore!!!

And coming from the hp store I’m not sure why this wasn’t exceptional. I’d love a replacement I do not want to purchase another cartridge. That should’ve lasted 4-6 months it was out after about 3 times printing.

I never would have bought the printer had I known how much ink it uses, even on draft mode.

Would I recommend this product? Yes, only if it delivers what is promised.

This time, I bought the smaller capacity cartridge. I would rather run out, than have it stop printing with 1/2 ink remaining, and not be able to get it working after that!

After so many trys finally the cartridge was found to be empty. I try to return it to Walmart but wouldn't accept since the cartridge was not in it's carton. Believe me I will never buy a ink cartridge from Walmart. Walmart told me to write to you people and see what you could do. I am left with no ink cartridge and $17.00 gone down the drain.

The cartridge has vary good print factor and long life. The only con is when the ink runs out it stops immediately. There is no gradual fade out to aware you the end is coming. One page will be perfect the next zero.

Would it really hurt HP to supply a fair amount of ink in these cartridges? I am sure the cartridges cost a lot more than the ink that is injected into them.... what a huge waste!

With a lot of work we get it to print but hours later it jumps off line. Over several months I have been able to print 20 pages. I have to put everything on a thumb drive and drive it elsewhere to get it printed. The web site has not helped. Best Buy recommended you and I will file a complaint with them as well.

I mostly use it for printing pictures and some documents. Tried and even turned it to black and white only (which my printer says has more) but streaks! Neither color nor black indicates I am out but close and it prints horrible! Very disappointed!

I had to de-gunk the HP color one, also, since it was printing everything in green. We'll see how this new HP cartridge holds out.
