I’ve always had a good experience with HP ink cartridges. Excellent quality and performance. You pay the price for what you get. Tried some off brand, and cheaper ink cartridges, and had bad experiences with them. Not worth the $ savings to fool with anything less expensive. Just end up with headaches and a waste of time and paper.

Very nice printer/copier/scanner
This printer had all the features that I wanted. It was easy to setup and produces good quality printing. The only thing that is a concern is that the print queue doesn't seem to clear out after a document is printed. I have to manually cancel documents before I print something else. Must be a setting somewhere?

I bought this ink cartridge for my papers to print documents and what happens was that i only did 19 pages and we did barely use graphics or pictures we used it for documents and after the 19 pages i ran out of ink i do not know why your ink i paid for a lot of money just for 19 pages i would like a exchange for a new one and I use it for only the home computer and i would like a new one and only use it for medical and doctor documents so i would like a new one thank you.

I have come to the conclusion that when I need to purchase ink cartridges for my HP OfficeJet 6958 I will just go to directly to the HP website to source these items! Honestly, I have shopped at stores for these items but they are not always available. So why did I keep wasting time and effort? As long as my printer holds up I'll save time and effort and even money by ordering through the HP site.

Only was able to use 1/3 of the 902XL....
I purchased these 902XL cartridges at the end of August 2019. I put the cartridge in my printer about mid-October and I was only able to use about 1/3 of the cartridge before I started to have issues. The issue that arose was that it was showing it was out of black ink when printed and cleaning the printer heads did not resolve the issue (also wasted much of my color ink). I was having the same issues when purchasing from Amazon, so I was sure that if I bought the HP products from HP I would not suffer the loss of $$$, time and ink. I am quite disappointed as the website mentions I am not able to return after 30 days after purchase. (I usually buy 3+ cartridges at a time since we have 3 of the same printers throughout our facility.)
Deeply disappointed as I no longer know who I can trust with our ink services and I cannot afford the amount of time it takes for me to purchase ink cartridges once they empty.
Unfortunately, this does make me question mine and my companies loyalty to HP products. I cannot confirm at this time that we would invest in their printers or ink when needing to upgrade in the future. I hope these issues are able to be resolved with their customer care and other customers do not have to struggle with similar issues.

Color is terrible.
I very rarely use any color ink besides black. But! I want to print something that I need finished this afternoon, when I printed one, it was very faded, with a green tint , and streaks through it as if it were running out of ink. I'm going to answer the question about referring the product to a friend, as yes. Awful black ink!!
I always buy ink from HP online for my printer. This last order I had is, to say the least, awful. The colored ink is perfect but runs low very quickly. The black ink is terrible. It printed the first couple documents perfectly. Then two weeks later, I tried to print a normal Microsoft word document and it was blank. I cleaned the printer head up to level 3 cleaning and still nothing. I did this multiple times. I printed in color and everything was fine. The black ink appears to be clogged but nothing will clean it. I have attempted every possible solution with a bad review as my last resort. Now I have to order more ink because the color ink already ran out and the black ink still won't work. I am a law student who NEEDS to print documents on a daily basis. This is extremely disappointing.

My printer stopped printing black.. I loaded a new unopened black cartridge and it would not print because it was out of date. HP "sold" me a new cartridge that also did not work. Since my printer is in pristine condition and less than two years old BUT over the ridiculously short warranty period. I am out of luck.

I love the XL size black ink cartridge, because I print out far more black and white documents than i do colored pages. This saves me from having to replace the cartridge so often.

I bought anew printer in Jan. All I print are crossword puzzles and occasional tickets. By end of Feb began getting “low ink” message. Bought your online $40 supersize cartridge. By middle of April started “low ink” message again. Best Buy referred me to your phone help line (in India) After close to an hour with Operator 1008 I became increasingly uncomfortable with the need to relinquish control of my equipment and the lack of any comprehensible progress. She enquirer into my age and pension status, allegedly to offer a discount. When she tried to transfer me to a secondary security company to protect my vulnerable system I quit the conversation. At this point I only hope I’m not about to become a victim. I’ve decided to just keep a standby cartridge and avoid the call center.

Ink spilled all over, hard to get support
I ordered this ink in February from hp.com. When I twisted off the orange tab to install this in my printer, ink spilled all over. I cleaned up the mess off my desk, my phone, my mouse and the carpet, threw away the box and cartridge, and then tried to contact support about getting a replacement. Support for ink supplies was difficult to find on the website and I was transferred once while in chat. The support person wanted a number of the cartridge. While I was trying to get it out of the garbage, clean it up and get a number typed in, the chat ended.

I normally ignore these reviews because they don't always tell the whole story. I received my ink promptly which I needed because I waited too long before ordering, but when I opened the 1st black ink all of the ink spilled out of its cartridge. Luckily I ordered 2 because the first was a waste. Could be it was just a fluke or the hot weather of AZ that caused the failure but considering the price of ink, upsetting none the least. I have photos but cant upload for some reason, if HP would like them please contact me.

902XL did not work
Very disappointed!! Got the HP 902XL shipped to me and installed it asap because I needed to print a bunch of copies for a meeting. The 902XL did not let the ink out. Took it back out of my HP copier and shook it until ink flew all over. Cleaned up the mess then re installed it and the same thing, would not print. Got mad threw the cartridge away because of the mess. then had to run to Wall Mart 1/2 hour away and get a new HP902XL. Got home installed it and it worked fine.

HP Colors (and black) are true and lasting
The reason I stuck with an HP inkjet color printer when I needed a new one is because HP colors (including black) last and do not fade (unless subjected to constant and intense sunlight). I'm having a few issues with the printer I recently purchased but no problems whatsoever with the ink itself. Yes, it's pricey but it is also reliable, which is important.

Bought cartridge ink and received within days. The bad when I removed tab all the ink leaked all over and made a big mess. I called HP and complain and they made it right by replacing with a new one. The only drawback I needed to print and had to go buy one ASAP to Office Depot.

I don't understand how, having the printer hooked up but rarely using it, all four ink cartridges were out of ink at the same time. Does the ink just evaporate as it sits there not being used? This makes no sense to me and is quite costly.

I bought the ink cartidge that was advertised to print 850 pages and I got 400 out of it so what I am doing now is just testing the wayters, "so to speak" to see how many paghes I can get out of the diffferent cartidges then I will be able to say yea or nea in regards to HP ink cartidges

Every time I order printer ink cartridges, they come the following day. This is why I appreciate HP. I live in a more rural area & don't trust the ink i purchased locally once previously from a provider...ink was dried out. Think it was on shelf too long. HP ink is always fresh. Thank you.

Great quality and value.
I have only owned hp printers because of first purchase being impressed with quality that when I needed another I went back to hp. The copies of documents and pictures are of such high quality that copies come out looking better than original. And it is genuine hp ink alone that I use in printer that contribute to high quality of images and documents.

I've bought the knock-off brand of ink in the past and truly learned that you get what you pay for! Sure, the HP 902XL High Yield Black Original Ink Cartridge was a bit more money than the ones I could get from that giant online warehouse store, but the quality in the ink, the ease of replacement and the fact they send a postage-paid envelope to send the empty cartridges back make purchasing from HP.com the best option all around. I'm very, very happy and will be buying all my ink from HP from here on out.

HP vs off brand cartridges
I tried an off brand cartridge and what a mess I had. They leaked a lot of ink when I opened up the cartriges. I got ink all over my desk and hands. The worst part is the ink got all over my new pants. The dry cleaner could not get the ink out. There goes $50 dollars for new pants. The printing was all fuzzy and the colors were way off. I am sticking with HP cartriges from here on out. I hope this helps some people to not even try any off brand cartridges.

Very disappointed with this product, only gives you 825 pages. My previous HP printer used 950XL cartridges which gave me 2300 pages for almost the same price. Also, still showing ink in cartridge yet print quality extremely poor. I will not buy another HP printer.

My HP printers suddenly stopped working. I had to manually link one and buy another after a HP virus. The new HP is difficult to download fax, copy, scan...some work and some don’t. I’ve hooked up plenty. Bought this ink for the new printer that doesn’t work well so I can’t tell you how it works because I also can’t contact a human being at HP to walk me through it (yes I’ve read instructions and followed videos). Wouldn’t have written this but you asked.

I ordered a cartridge online for about 40.00 with shipping. It printed 4 pages after install and quit. I called CS and they offered to send a new one and it is working fine. However, I had 2 important deadlines that needed printed content and not having what I needed when I needed it was a source of anxiety. CS did not offer any additional benefit and I thought they should have, given their product was defective and it created a ton of stress I didn't need. New one has worked fine, it was probably just a recycle that missed its refill or something. Give yourself plenty of time if you need it right away.

I bought this because I got off the instant ink program, due to security issues within my company. The printer is still looking for "instant ink" info and I do not know how to erase it, so that the printer works better, without manual interruption. If you actually read these reviews, have someone either call or email me with the information I need to clean out the "instant ink" overprint on the printer.

Will it is currently working fine, initially my cartridge was printing spottily and then not being read by the printer. After hours of frustration and troubleshooting, it turned out that the problem resulted from the label on top of the cartridge covering an opening that is supposed to be exposed.

Authentic HP Ink Cartridge?
I have exclusively used HP printers since purchasing a HP All in One in 1994. In the last 25 years personally and through my companies I have purchased over 100 HP printers. The frequency and price of HP ink cartridges has began to sour me to the product. On this recent purchase I ordered 2) HP 902XL cartridges for over $80. After installing the new cartridge my printer started giving a fault code saying the cartridges were not Authentic HP cartridges. This is a hassle and very frustrating becase I purchased them from the HP web site and I know that they are HP. My loyalty is waining and I’m exploring new options.

Has anyone had a problem with these cartridges exploding when opening. I purchased this cartridge at Walmart for the great printer, HP OfficeJet 6962 that I also bought there. The first one exploded and continued to spray ink. I returned it to the store for replacement and the second one also spilled ink. Luckily I held it over the sink after the first experience. I wiped the ink off the cartridge and inserted it and it seems to be working but I wonder how much ink I lost. I have never had this problem with the regular sized cartridge.

I was purchasing the 902XL black high capacity cartridge, and I saw a recommendation to buy the 906XL with ink for 825 pages! I called your chat line and confirmed the fit for a HP Officejet Pro 6978. I ordered the cartridges, installed, and it works great. Will let you know if it lasts 825 pages but lasting so far. When I broke the shipping seal on this cartridge it shot black ink all over the play. Had to clean the cartridge of before putting it in the printer. Took three nozzle cleanings to get it working right. Left stains on my clothes and carpet. Not happy at all!

Because I have an HP printer (with which I am delighted), I elect to use only HP ink. The color cartridges are easy to install and give me a very high quality printing job every time. I was a bit disappointed with this order. The yellow cartridge would not install. I think the little clip was sprung because it would not lock into place. Because I had two sets, I robbed the new one to complete my project on time. Of course, it worked fine. This is the first time I have had any problem with HP products. I heartily recommend.

It is extremely difficult to pull the tape off the ink cartridge. If you don’t have strong fingers there’s no way that’s coming off.

I love the high yield printer ink cartridges. I have to print a lot for school and I use a lot of ink. I appreciate being able to get the hp high yield in cartridges in all the colors. It is much more economical than the standard size.

XL cartridges perform generally well. I am not convinced that they produce the number of sheets that HP claims, even though I run on ink-saver option, but I have no problem with quality.

Although my printer states the ink is more than half full, when attempting to print, the pages print as if the cartridge is empty. Replaced with a new HP cartridge and the printer prints fine. Would love to get a credit for the unused ink.

The ink is fine but I hate the printer. It is an HP officejet 6958. I had an HP 8600 for years and very few problems until it died this year. The touch screen is not user-friendly on 6958 among other problems.

I purchased the high yield Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta ink cartridges, not the black. Delivery was very fast so I gave this a fairly high rating. However, I have not been impressed with the amount of ink in the cartridges I ordered in the past. It has been my experience that the 902 cartridges run out of ink VERY fast. I have not experienced this with cartridges for other HP printers before. But I now have an HP 6978 printer that uses 902 cartridges so I am stuck. Hopefully I will have better luck with this batch.

Had to return 2 HP printers in 6 months
I purchased 2 HP printers and had to return both of them before they were 6 months old. Lucky I had purchased the extended warranty. The store was real helpfull and did an exchange both times. I lost time resetting them up, driving to exchange them, gas and vehicle wear and tear. I would say that speaks good about the chain store but poorly about HP quality. I do not care if you print this or not but feel you should hear about your end user.

I am pleased I bought this product. However, I have a number of other Hp products, computers and other printers. I have only one issue at this time, and that being two of my printers are non-functioning due to defective print heads. One is an Hp Ly7680 Office Jet Pro All-in-One; and the other an HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One. In each instance I was discouraged by an HP Customer Service Representative to buy a replacement printer. I did exactly that in both instances incurring no small expense. I found both printers to be excellent when they were operable. Finally, I wish to note that I currently have in my possession a Cyan 902 XL print cartridge that reflects 2/3 full, but does not print. I'd like to return this cartridge for replacement.
I will conclude with the hope that changes will be made to your printer products to reduce this problem with the print heads.

The only complaint I have is that I bought 4 different colors of ink thinking that’s what you had to do. And then I thought after putting them in the printer then you pick your printing page package. WRONG!!!!! It’s the other way around! Come to find out I didn’t need to pay $137 for the ink after all! All you have to do is sign up for your printing package! This is my second review because they keep sending it to me. They let me know they got the review but NOT once offered to give me a refund or credit for buying the ink! Other then this problem I’m NOT to happy about....... it is a very good service to have. Hope this helps other people out there that may NOT have known about this. Because it’s NOT noted in the print anywhere on the website! Just hoping they will really put this review on there page or not is the question.

I now have 3 printers which use HP inks in my different work locations. I am very satisfied every time i replace either a black or color cartridge: easy to put in, no ink mess, very good printing quality, dry quickly. The mail delivery makes this all so easy and affordable.

HP color cartrige was the wrong one
I bought my color cartrige on line because my hp prompt said my color was low and it would be easy to order my original HP well I ordered the HP902xl) but my printer uses hp910 carttrige not 902xl,so after trying to put it in and not working we sent it back to be replace with the right one,I do like HP and I trust the HP products

Great, black ink cartridge
I came back to HP. Needed ink, went on line, looked for ink for my printer, bought ink, will install when needed. This sounds easy only because its HP. I couldn't get ink with a competitor's printer. They sold their printer business to another company and I couldn't get ink. The printer didn't have the same quality or features as my old HP. Won't happen again. Thanks HP.

Can't lie, 4 new cartriges still in box. All 902XL
My printer is a-okay, been buying cartridges local. My wife uses the printer, I just make things work. I have 3 HP computers, 1 printer-scanner and 1 81/2 x 14 scanner that I used to convert a couple of thousand 35mm slides to digital format and SAVE where I find pictures that go back to the early 50's. Fading frozen in time.

When I searched for a cartridge for my HP8028 printer I was directed to buy the wrong cartridge. I needed a 910XL and bought a 902XL which I can't use, but it was expensive. I guess I will return it unused and full of ink in the factory envelope to avoid throwing toxic waste in the garbage and then decide if I buy another or a new printer.

Also bout the 3 color cartridges, and the Black XL. The Black does not print.
Have gone through all of the troubleshooting via HP Print and Scan Doctor to no avail.
Black is the only cartridge not printing and it's the only XL. The cartridge pad is moist as is the screen where it's inserted. Am going to try the smaller size to see if that helps.

Excellent cartridge but delivery horrible
I have no complaints on any of the ink cartridges. I do however don’t understand that in this day and age it took forever to get my shipment. Tracking was going back and forth delivery date was changed. I will buy my cartridges now at Walmart.

2 Cartridges Exploded!
I have been using HP products for 20 years so I KNOW this is not normal. I bought 2 cartridges at Costco. Came home and opened one. As soon as I twisted the orange lever ink started spraying out everywhere. Ruined my shirt and my quilting mat. I opened the second one over the trash can thinking the first was a fluke, but the second did the same thing!!! It is NOT hot out and it is a five minute drive home so it is not anything I did to the cartridge. I'm really upset and out over $100 PLUS the cost of the two cartridges!

I ordered the HP 902XL inkjet cartridge about a month ago. The orange twist off thing on bottom of cartridge just "lifted" right off instead of a "hard twist off and snap". Copies are printing real faint. Not very happy about this at all!!!

I write my children every day since the quarantine began 42 days ago. My son lives in Alaska, daughter and grand children live in Nevada. Each double sided letter gets copied on my HP printer and mailed every day. I tend to go through the black ink cartridges faster than the color cartridges. So having the option of buying and using a High Yield ink cartridge is very convenient. I can go without purchasing more cartridges longer, which may not be a happy outcome for HP but it works for me. Easy to install.

Our new xl ink in and printer wouldn’t print black. And new multi color $100 of ink . Cleaned heads repeatedly, - nothing. Bought another new hp printer this time toner. SO before pitching the original printer with my new ink purchase I put another new black ink cartridge in that came with the color package and it worked . So now have two printers $250 later. Frustrating!! $40 for xl black and it didn’t work- made me think head was damaged and bought another printer!

HP only allows its cartridges to work in my printer. HP has been out of colored ink for months, it blocks the ink of other suppliers. My printer is very unhappy with no colored ink, and can leave out colored parts of a document when printing. Never by an HP printer again.

I could not get 902 ink for 3 weeks, because of a recall and when it came the 902 XL black was defective. I wouldn't disperse ink. I replaced with a non XL cartridge and it worked.

902 ink cartridges failure
I put a brand new cyan cartridge into my printer which was operating properly but ran out of ink. i put the new cyan and got an error message. hp website said this cartridge was recalled, and fill out form to get replacement. the form did not appear, the next message said my printer is out of warranty. don't understand what that has to do with the ink. i have another printer just the same. i put in a new black cartridge and message keeps telling me to remove it and replace it. i have two printers, lots of ink and cannot do anything with them.

You are unable to speak to a live person on line and by the time you go through the chat you are unable to catch and make the correction on the order. I purchased a case of these 902XL, but don't heavily use our home printer. When the cartridge needed replacing, I inserted a new cartridge and received a "older generation cartridge" error message, and my printer would not use it. Mysteriously, the previous cartridge (from the same case) was working just fine! HP customer service would not replace the remaining cartridges in the case, as they were "out of warranty." Buyer beware: they update software on the wireless printers that render older cartridges useless...and then tell you "sorry, there's nothing we can do."
I have 7 (!!) cartridges full of perfectly good ink that are now headed for a landfill. HP is the worst.

The ink took way too long past to 7 to 10 days to get... And the blue one even came later than that. My printer will not work without ink so I was unable to work on some welding projects for my daughter I was not happy

902XL At Least Works
Have been using the 902XL Black Original since it was first available. It works flawlwessly in my Officejet 6958. This latest reorder required because HP lists a 906XL as usable in the 6950 series, and I tried them. My printer REJECTED both 906XL cartridges, so I was out of ink until my reorder of 902XLs arrived. I no longer trust the listings. The 902XL is excellent, the 906XL is worthless.

Bought new 902xl ink cartridge for printer. When I opened to install the ink was leaking. I wiped the cartridge and installed it but was told that the cartridge was faulty. What do I do now? This is a 45.89 expense and to buy another will be another 45.89. Please advise.

HP product does not work
My HP Office Jet Pro 6978 no longer works at all (so my $100 of black ink is lost cash.)
When I try to use the Printer, I am instructed that I must use SETUP cartridges that came with my printer. My printer is roughly 4 years old and I do not have any SETUP cartridges for it.
I will be switching to a different office technology provider as soon as possible.

I bought and installed the 902XL black ink cartridge and started printing a document. I was able to print only about 250 pages before the ink ran out. Even a standard cartridge should last longer than that. At 35 dollars for a cartridge, that makes for some very expensive printing. And, HP has made it impossible to use anything except their expensive ink in their printers. You can't even use the correct HP ink if it has been previously used in another printer. I have been a loyal HP user for years, but I will likely go else where for my next printer.

The high yield black ink was very short lived .Although the ink level showed 2/3 full it would not print black print copies. I just replaced it with a new black cartridge that is printing as expected. I am very disappointed with the high yield cartridge.

You can shake it and hear it and when you put it in printer, it shows it is full but it will not print. It is defective. I had to go to the local Office Depot here in Foley and purchase another one. I reported it to you but heard nothing. It was not my printer. The new one works fine.

Removal of the orange lever/ STRESSFUL
The shipping was excellent. The installation of the black ink cartridge was easy but the colored inks were stressful. It says turn the orange lever counter clockwise but be gentle and no contact with the copper contacts. Well some of them broke of with some pressure but a couple made me sweat for fear of leaking ink or worse. This was my first time installing the cartridges, it did take a lot of force to remove the orange lever. After that it was a breeze. Thank you HP!

I am extremely disappointed in this ink. I ordered it on Jan. 11, and received it approximately 2 days later. It is now March 1 and my printer is telling me I am low on ink!! I print 12 to 15 pages a week which makes a bit over 100 pages since installing this cartridge. At this rate I can buy a new printer every other month. Not happy!!!

I have only printed one document, so I don't know if this ink is adequate. Last time I purchased it, it was evidently a recycled cartridge and it didn't have a great deal of ink. The HP 902XL is Unsatisfactory and Insufficient.
I purchased the 902xl black ink cartridge product recently, installed it last week, and after printing several pages, the cartridge is near empty, print copies are faded and unreadable, and it needs to be replaced. The advertisement for this particular cartridge is inaccurate, mostly false, and totally misleading.

First HP ink that has been troublesome
Just installed black ink and doesn’t print properly at all. Cleaned the heads with HP Smart level 1 (1st page no black). Cleaned with level 2 (2nd page in the picture). 3rd level head cleaning printed properly for few sheets. Tried the next day and had to start the process over again and could get it to print until trying the day after that.

50% Ink cartridge life!
Cartridge took 3 weeks to arrive. These cartridges only last 50% as long as previous cartridges.
When cartridge stops working, I put it aside. A month later, I reinstall cartridge and sometimes it will print for a while again. Very disappointed in cartridge performance!! HP used to be very reliable. Also price has gone up.

The 902XL black cartridge did not work. I ended up have to drive to a local store to purchase a new one and it works fine. Since i returned the other empty cartridges, I no longer have to address nor envelope to return this on that doesn't work. I was very disappointed.

I made the mistake of purchasing an off brand ink cartridge after I bought my printer. After buying this cartridge, I will never buy anything but the HP cartridges. They say you get what you pay for and that is so true for ink cartridges. These are well worth paying more money for because the quality is better and they last longer.

I bought ink for both my printers in advance of running out. I received the order in early October. In early December, my 902XL cartridge ran out. I installed the new cartridge, and no amount of help from hp has made it so that the cartridge prints. I am a very experienced user, and did all the troubleshooting tips multiple times. I finally gave up when the last step was to print a print quality report and then do what is suggested (in black ink, so it didn't print). Highly frustrated, I decided to return it - only to see that returns are only accepted for 30 days. I'll never buy ink from hp again. $45.99 down the drain!

Do not buy an HP printer -- I never will again
I ordered "genuine" HP ink after my HP printer firmware shut down my printer for having non-HP cartridges installs. So, okay. I bought genuine. Still locked out of printer with bogus "cartridge damaged, etc" message. Contacted HP tech online -- they tried for 90 minutes to unlock my printer. Now I'm stuck with a printer that won't print and $100 plus of new HP Ink that I can't use.

I learned my lesson buying cheap, discounted ink. It came to me with an expiration date of 7/22. That ink wouldn't print for crap, cleaned the printhead multiple times, got squat.
I bought good ink and am now getting better printing. Though the black is still not very dark.
I will only buy ink from HP from now on.

Only original ink cartridges for me!
I'm a man who doesn't like to take chances - which is why I buy my ink cartridges from the manufacturer of my printer. Buying these cart's from H-P assures me I'm getting no knock-off cart's, or, substitutes from who-knows-where, or "refilled-by-who-knows", and I know these will work exactly like they're supposed to.

Defective cartridge
I bought this to replace my black 902xl cartridge. Printer wouldn't accept it; messaged "cartridge is an old one which cannot be used by this printer." Tried 2 more times after restarting printer each time got the same result. Finally removed the cartridge and examined it under a magnifying glass--the black plastic covering at the top/back was defective; the v cut was incomplete and left a tiny bulge. Managed to pull it up enough to cut the left side to match the right. Reinstalled cartridge and got message - this cartridge has been recycled or reused and may not work. " Finally printed out a document with black ink. Since when do we get recycled/reused cartridges from HP--for the same cost as new ones??!!

So much for genuine HP ink cartridges.
I ordered the HP 902XL High Yield Black Original Ink directly from the HP Store. Installed it and my printer confirmed that an official HP cartridge was installed but it wouldn't print. I looked online and found out my printer won't print with black ink only if the color cartridges are empty and it requires all the color cartridges also have ink, so I spent another $40 to order the 3 pack of magenta, cyan and yellow, even though I only want to print in black. Once received I installed them and the printer confirmed genuine HP cartridges were installed. My printer still will not print black and white so now I'm out $90 and not able to print. I think the black ink they sold me was faulty. I've tried running the quality tools multiple times and still nothing. Beyond frustrated at this point.

Frustrated with HP.
I purchased anew HP 902 XL black cartridge because I thought my HP printer ran out of ink. After I installed the cartridge the printer still didn’t work so I called HP support, and a woman’s with broken English determined I had a hardware problem. Since my cartridge ($50) and printer are longer useable, I’m switching to Epson.

If you are confused by the HP Instant Ink scheme, your ink supplies are running low and the HP website is not recognizing you as an Instant Ink subscriber, DO NOT buy ink as a regular customer. Even though you've purchased a genuine and compatible product for your printer, IT WILL NOT WORK when you put it in. The query bot can't help you either.

HP software shuts your printer down if you don't use there catridges. Then ordering theres was a huge pain with the system kicking me off many times, the delivery time took much longer that other services, and finally when they arrived, installation was a mess. 3 of the four leaked all over once the wrapping was removed.

I am not a happy customer. I was in the middle of printing court documents when I ran out of ink. I have a monthly subscription that should have sent out more cartridges before I got to this point. I had to spend over 100$ on more cartridges, then 2 days later I get a shipping notice my ink levels are low. I would like a refund of over $100 purchase and I can mail you back what I got with my subscription.
