Hitachi Tuning Manager software is an automated, intelligent, and path-aware storage resource management tool that maps, monitors, analyzes and reviews storage network resources from the application to the storage device. It provides the end-to-end visibility required to isolate and diagnose performance bottlenecks with a focus on business applications, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange and IBM DB2. Through an intuitive, Web-based interface, Tuning Manager software facilitates predictive trending to forecast storage requirements and meet service-level agreements. The alert facility in Tuning Manager provides for pro-active monitoring and allows for correction of potential problems before they occur.
