The JVC Broadcast Camcorder is a unique, innovative device that makes no compromises in image quality, while offering optimum connectivity. It incorporates a new processing engine that enables recording and low-latency streaming as well as simultaneous decoding for return video and IFB. With a combination of three 2/3-inch CMOS sensors and an F1.4 prism, this camcorder delivers bright images and superior color reproduction at a high sensitivity of F12 (60 Hz - extended mode). This camcorder is equipped with a powerful communications engine that truly makes News-over-IP a reality with a streamlined ENG workflow that is both reliable and cost effective. It supports the popular MPEG-2 35/25 Mbps format used by TV broadcasters, and the more efficient .MOV H.264 format that is capable of delivering production-quality 1080/60p 4:2:2 10-bit recordings. In this mode, recordings can be made at frame rates up to 120fps for ultra-smooth slow motion effects.
