Quick & easy protection from prying eyes!
If you are working on your Mac and need privacy from prying eyes on a plane, train or other public location, this is the product for you.
It is perfectly fitted for the MacBook Pro (this is the 15" there is also a 13"), allowing the camera to still be used, but stopping anyone who is not directly in front of the screen from seeing your screen. It fits even if you use some kind of camera cover. The magnetic strip at the top of the privacy screen allows for easy attachment / mounting and removal, and is the major advantage over adhesive-based privacy screens, which falter after the first time you remove it (e.g. to show something on your screen to your colleague!) The fitted design and thinness allows it to be left in place when the lid is closed. The privacy screen has a relatively narrow viewing angle allowing people directly in front of it to see the screen clearly with little degradation in color or crispness, but turns black as one looks from an angle: people next to you can't see a thing. It comes with a plastic sleeve that is open on two sides, allowing for easy storage and protection from scratching, as well as easy retrieval for use. It can be cleaned with screen cleaner and eye glass cloths to remove fingerprints and smudges.
With any screen protector, you must be able to easily remove it (e.g. to show someone something on your screen) and that problem is completely solved with this product. I had another brand which was adhesive-based and it was useless after it was removed once because the adhesive was weakened and then picked up dust and dirt and no longer adhered, or it stuck to other things when not attached to my screen. It may seem a little expensive... but what's the cost of someone seeing confidential information on your screen? That protection is worth every penny
