Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice machine for the $$ (and it really is tiny!). Overall, I'm happy with my purchase of the Lenovo M720 Tiny. Although it benchmarks out (Novabench) to performing just above the level of a lower-priced laptop, it's plenty peppy for my needs (with 8GB RAM and the CPU upgraded to the intel i38100t). On the minus side, the attention to detail regarding set-up of the system is terrible. There is no documentation in the box (apart from a brief disclaimer about USB port speeds), and no quickstart guide. If you order your unit with a DVD writer, you have to plug it in with a proprietary cable, but nowhere does it say this- I simply thought the DVD wasn't working. When you go online to search for the documentation, you're likely to be confused. The official name of this unit is the M720q- the "q" designation does not appear in the advertising or product descriptions online, so how are you supposed to know this? It's easy enough to think that what you want are the docs for the M720T (T for "tiny" one might think), but no, these docs will confuse the heck out of you- they're actually for a very different model.I've set up and even built several computers before; still. I don't appreciate receiving a computer and a box of unlabelled cables, with absolutely no guidance as to how to set up the system. Lenovo seems to have a serious problem anticipating customer needs.It extends to their website as well. Case in point: I wanted to see what Lenovo was charging for an after-purchase subscription to Microsoft 365. A search on that term turned up over 1300 hits! - presumably because a trial subscription to Microsoft 365 is given with virtually every product Lenovo sells. But, that's terrible search engine programming. I tried for 15 minutes to locate the information I wanted, then decided that Lenovo simply didn't deserve my business. So, pretty nice computer, atrocious out-of-the-box support, flaky website.

Does everything I need it to. My old one was a full tower that my husband built for me. This is much better and much faster. My husband approves of this purchase. I am completely satisfied with this unit. If you are in the market for a computer with a small foot print but do not want to sacrifice the power and performance then this is what you need to have. The laptop was never moved and used as a laptop, it was worth it to get a smaller form factor that has a more powerful punch — better CPU and more RAM — at a great price performance ratio.

The first thing I noticed about the M720 Tiny is how fast it processes the information. It is loaded with more useful "stuff" than the larger desktop pc it replaced. So far I am inpressed!

They also come with a 3 year onsite warranty. I had to have one of them worked on last year and it was so easy to submit a support ticket and plus they came out and fixed it. I will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tiny computer with all the power of a desktop I just started looking for my next computer as my Dell all-in-one was showing sporadic signs of what was diagnosed to be a failing motherboard. Because it was an all in one, I thought I should be able to continue to use the monitor once the computer stopped working, so I was looking for a small desktop. I was not even aware of the M720 tiny and it seemed like a perfect solution. I'll continue to use the all in one, but will copy the hard drive onto the M720 tiny and I have the best of all worlds. Plus, I keep an extra monitor at our cabin, and I can transport the Tiny as easily as a laptop. I love the design.

A little surprise Microsoft loaded them with so many bloatware apps but easy enough to remove. With 13 units it was time consuming but doable.

I used it to replace a mid-tower desktop computer that I used with my large screen TV to stream video and otherwise surf the internet as well as do general PC work. The Thinkcentre has made the situation much better because of it's virtually silent running. It does have a fan for cooling but we don't hear it. I was very please with the expandability of the computer. I added an M.2 NVME 1TB SSD drive and upgraded the memory with two 8GB DD4 memory cards. Finally I exchanged the 500gb SATA drive with a 750GB SSD drive. Now I have tons of storage space and plenty of operating ram all running noiselessly. Finally, Lenovo technical support is great with the support software they offer. Be sure to download the Lenovo Migration Software to easily and quickly transfer your files from the old computer to the new.

I wanted to say how amazing it is! The only thing I struggle with is that I am not able to play games with it.(It is really slow and laggy.) Over all I love my ThinkCentre M720 Tiny.

Unfortunately a few add-on parts I requested were not delivered with the hardware but customer service was fair in refunding me for the undelivered parts (nothing major, just the vertical stand and dust shields). All in all, the hardware is great and just what I wanted from a performance and size perspective and the customer service was fair and responsive when I contacted them.

The only thing you can upgrade in the new Mac Mini is memory and it's a pain. Lenovo, has great support and their computers are built to last. I still have Lenovo ThinkPad's that are still in service, 12 yrs later either running Windows 10 or Linux.

I have a hyper-threaded 6 core cpu with 32 gig of ram so I can run multiple VM's, and transcode Plex for overseas viewing, while still working as my daily driver PC for email and spreadsheets and such. With the relatively low power draw, my ups can run it for a good while in case of power outage. It does take a higher wattage than my previous m92p-tiny, but similar to a high end laptop and docking station. I wish that it had a second NVME port.

Took a little wiggling to fit into the Tiny-in-One monitor I purchased for it, but both are working perfectly. I like the standard keyboard as well: the buttons are pleasantly heavy. My suggestion to anyone who attaches this computer to a monitor is to use the computer power supply, not the monitor one. So, when you go to plug the monitor into the outlet, instead of using the power supply that came with the monitor, use the one that came with the computer. They have the same port type. This way the computer receives adequate power (you'll get a weird message on boot-up otherwise). I use this for my bookkeeping profession, and it runs QuickBooks Online and a variety of apps without any trouble.

The only reason for 3 stars is that the specifications said that I would be getting an onboard gigabit ethernet adapter and I received a 100 MB adapter instead. After hours on the phone with Lenovo, being transferred from one department to another and back again, I was unable to get the problem solved. Lenovo's customer support is awful!

My customers and I have been impressed with the amount of performance packed into such a small frame. I have not had a bad experience with this model after several installs, and out in the field they perform well as there have been little to no issues with any of them. Overall, the M720 Tiny is a very solid, basic workstation desktop solution that also saves on desk/floor space.

I wanted to stay in the Apple Ecosystem, but their Mac Mini's were super expensive, and you really did not get much for your money. So, I decided to give Windows 10 a chance and started looking for computers with a small footprint like the Mac Mini. I already had a Lenovo Gaming Laptop computer that I really liked, so I checked out the Lenovo website, and low and behold, the ThinkCentre M720 Tiny was the perfect solution. This really cool desktop is super quiet and the specs are a lot better than a similar Mac Mini AND over a $100 cheaper as well. Also, the M720 is super easy to upgrade, so I should be able to keep it in use for many years.

Second replacement part was supposed to be replaced by user but was too complicated to do. Installation videos were not specific to my machine and website / YouTube videos were too hard to locate. Lenovo web site crashes and hangs up. Software download of operating system hung up did not complete. Warning to use most recent download occurs after the download starts do its too late to verify you are using the proper link. The download link buttons don’t look like buttons so you dont know what to hit. Total disgrace snd waste of time to push this much repair responsibility to the customer for a product that was faulty from the start.

It has sufficient ports, power, upgradeable RAM and SSD. It is active cooled (fan, but it doesn't run loudly. I've been using it now for a couple of weeks. Runs Windows 10. I'm able to run Chrome with several tabs, MS office, and video conference without any lag or stutter. I'm pleased with the build quality and performance of the machine...and I got it at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like my new computer - ThinkCentre M720 Tiny I have a few computers, which I bought to replace an old Windows 7 PC. I am an amateur photographer. I have a lot of photos and videos to edit. Since the 4K movie appeared, my Windows 7 PC has a slight lack of editing speed and image memory. It is better to replace Windows 10 PC once and for all. Lenovo - ThinkCentre M720 comes with professional Windows 10 software, and has a 6-core CPU on the hardware, the display card is Intel® UHD Graphics 630, so it is much faster to edit 4K movies than before! The biggest advantage is that the volume including the CD Driver is only 1/10 of the previous old Windows 7 PC, and the price is very reasonable! By the way, you can quickly install it yourself after you get it, but you must inform the factory to update the PC drivers from the internet. Another small drawback is that the Wifi antenna is very short, and the receiving ability is much worse than that of my other ASUS Note Book. With the HDMI output, it is currently connected to a LED 24" Display of from the old Windows 7 PC, the display quality is very good which is very satisfactory visually.

This computer was shipped defective., the sound card did not work and the keyboard was not completely acurate., it would miss to type several characters. It is a shame that such a nicely designed., small computer but powerful in technology cannot be given a great review do too poor manufacturing and miserable quality control. Company will replace the defective computer with another one., let’s hope this time a tested computer is shipped.

I own a Yoga Pro 1 & 2 laptop so I was expecting quality and performance...this little beast did not disappoint. Running 4k 30 fps from the HDMI out to a 50" tv for our home office. No fan noise or other just snappy power with no sacrifice. Simply amazed that this much quality and I/O can be packed into such a rigid little case. Lenovo is still top quality, no contenders.

I am especially pleased with the fact that I can integrate it into my (also new) Tiny in One Monitor. which further frees up desk space. The only (minor) ding would be that it's a bit noisy in my environment ... I hear the fan running under any load, but I'm in a quiet room so your mileage may vary. Why a four star review? It's a great system but I just can't bring myself to "love" it yet. It could have been a five if it had a quieter fan.

I am so happy to have made de transaction and bought this machine! It is quick, occupies very little space and it just performs superbly! I am so happy with this machine! I will probably also buy a laptop to replace my old MacBook Pro. Overall, I am and always have been really happy with Lenovo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great desktop alternative! With no longer needing to travel with a laptop and looking for a more powerful solution with a larger screen, this M720 Tiny was a great solution. Paired with a ThinkCentre monitor that has a plug-in area for the Tiny, it's essentially the same as a desktop, but with the mobility of being able to take this with you if needed.

I bought it because it allowed me to customize a system based on recommendations from the leading bible software program that would accommodate the software’s huge database and vast library of resources including interactive media and video courses and because of its compatibility with multiple monitors. I used the Dual Display dongle but found that the system would not recognize the two monitors separately. Fortunately, there is a display port and an HDMI port that fixed that problem. Had to call service because the system was not recognizing the camera and the sound/microphone were not functioning properly. The USB B cable required for these important items was not included with the shipment (I purchased separately. Once plugged in everything works great. I could not be happier with this computer! Now I just got to get used to Windows 10!

I’ve worked with Support already through chat and the rep was on point. Bottom line, I’ve been a Dell + HP consumer for awhile and will never turn back- Lenovo is my #1. The M720 sits airtight on the back of my monitor for a small physical presence that packs a punch. Happy new customer

Running it with no peripherals connected to it and having it boot up automatically when power is applied. Had no problems. Price seems pretty reasonable.

It got so bad i completely reformatted and installed a fresh version of windows. Its still slow. If i had it to do over, I would not buy this machine. In fact, i regret it. Id send it back if I could but unfortunately, I missed the window. It has a 3 year warranty but I cant imaging keeping this thing for 3 years based on its performance. Big disappointment.

I highly recommend it. You can put it vertically or horizontally depending on your space requirements. Overall, a very powerful but space saving computer!

Plenty of ports to connect multiple monitors if wanted. External drive access via usb-C is amazingly fast. I can transfer large groups of files almost as fast as I can select them. My favorite feature of this computer is how small it is. It easily nestles comfortably flat on my desk directly under my 34" wide monitor with plenty of room to spare. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile work station style computer. Not intended for super heavy CAD or extreme gaming. Nice video output quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not quite there yet. Pretty much a nice machine for the most part. It has enough power for day to day use. Disappointed it had limited USB ports. Everything these days today would like a USB port, Keyboard, Mice, USB Speaker, USB Microphone, USB MFC Printer, USB Barcode Scanner, USB Label Printer, USB Receipt printer, USB phone chargers etc, etc. Adding a USB hub is the less than perfect solution. Built in speaker is hardly powerful enough to hear a Zoom conversation.

Speed and graphics are great. Also purchased Lenovo speakers and the sound is good! The Tiny is replacing my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop ( still great device but slow with older processors and graphics) The Tiny is sleek, well made and has great system specs. Have been a long time Lenovo customer. I trust the brand and will continue to purchase your products.

I am an IT manager and have been working with and building computers for 25 years. This machine is garbage in spite of every performance trick I know. I bought it for my daughter for school and she hates it. I cant blame her. Unfortunately, I have a 3 year warranty. I doubt Ill keep it 1 year. Thank goodness for ebay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from M720 to run a Meeting room display The M720 fit nicely behind a monitor or TV in a meeting room, with full Windows 10 their are many ways you can conect and control the device. Also you cn run office products for meeting needs as well as connect a web cam and a mic and have a conferance. The M720 runs Window quickly for a smoth user experiance. I plan to purchase more of these Tiny Lenovo's to do other conferance rooms in the same way.

I had no idea such a tiny computer wa available. This is now installed in a guest bedroom and connected to my wifi system. Combined with a wireless keyboard and mouse it truly has a minimalist footprint and works like a champ.

It sounds like a jet engine which means online meetings have a noisy background. And, although this was partly my fault, because I customized with a CD r/w drive, the tiny would no longer fit on the monitor requiring the purchase of extra cables. My chat revealed none of that, so set up was made difficult and took days instead of the few minutes as advertised. There should have been a note next to the drive that said, this cable now required, and it should have been included. Very aggravating that neither the customization screen nor chat mentioned this required cable. Love the monitor, clear and easy to read.

I always bought huge cabinets in order to have room to work in them. I am running 4 computers now. Three of them are lenovo desktops and one huge one I built. ( As you can see I hate Laptops) The 720 Tiny is the last one and best one I own because it takes up little room, it is easy to change out drives and memory and I migrated windows without having to buy extra equipment. I use it for streaming so it fits on top of my cable box.
