When something is playing, it cancels out almost everything else.The top is a little uncomfortable and seems to lack padding, but I adjusted it up so that it doesn't rub against the top of my head

The boom mic slides into the speaker when not in use. This functionality is very useful. the sound quality is excellent. the mic picks up sound very well. This is a must have for gamers!
