The Lexmark Duo Drawer is a dual drawer to enhance your printer's capacity. It features a 550-sheet media tray for use with paper and card stock of A4, A5, JIS B5, Folio, Letter, Legal, Executive and Oficio sizes. This printer feeder tray also comes with a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder to print with various media including paper, paper labels, envelopes, transparencies and card stock. It supports different media sizes like A4, A5, A6, JIS B5, Folio, Letter, Legal, Executive, Statement and Oficio, and also other smaller sizes like 7¾, 9, 10, DL, C5, B5 and Monarch envelopes. A great unit, just missing one thing
This is a great addition to my CS417dn printer, and like the printer it appears to be built like a tank, so I trust it'll last a long time.
There's just one thing missing: The instruction manual (available only online) describes attaching a dust cover to the lower rear of the unit, to cover legal size paper when it's used in the bottom tray (the paper pokes out the back of the feeder an inch or two). The manual shows a picture of the dust cover, but the dust cover does NOT come with the feeder.
To get the dust cover, you need to email Lexmark parts at lpcorder@lexmark.com or call them at 877-577-2787 (option 2). The part number is 41X0923, and it cost me $9.31, plus $11 for freight & handling.
The printer itself theoretically also needs a dust cover on the back, but it's a different part and I haven't called Lexmark to inquire about it yet.
Other than that, this is a great feeder.
