The bag itself is a quality build, time will tell how it holds up, but so far it's a great bag for regular laptops, not an Alienware 17 which is bigger than most due to heat dissipation vent on the back..For the price it's a winner..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and well made I really like the light weight and styling of this case. It fits my new 17" laptop, just. The padded section for the computer seems well made and secure, with a separate velcroed elastic retaining strap. The other pockets are roomy, though I do wish there were a few more and at least one of them was sectioned for smaller items to keep them from flopping around. The only complaint I have is that the facing panel inside the cover flap (Pen holders, ID tab, etc... goes all the way to the bottom and the flap doesn't cover it. In short, what should be the inside is sticking out, even when closed and synched down. Also the pen older loops are VERY tight and many of my pens simply do not fit in them. Forget a sharpie or highlighter. I would also like to see a small pocket for keeping a supply of business cards. Overall, a good value for a large laptop.

The padding is minimal, the laptop sticks out about 2 inches over the top, and is barely covered with the bag flap. If you have an Alienware 17 laptop, do not get this product even though it says it's for 17.3 laptops. It will not protect your Alienware 17 laptop. On a positive note, it has several compartments that you can save brochures. It also has a ID protector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag, took a long time to get here The bag is great, I ordered this because my laptop is huge - with a 17 inch screen - and doesn't really fit in most laptop bags I could find, but this bag works well! The bag is secure and I feel like my laptop is safe inside, and it is nice looking too. The one complaint I have is that the shipping took multiple months, with repeated delays, but Dell emailed me each time there was a delay, updating the date of arrival. It was inconvenient as I was moving, but I still was able to get my bag, and it is a great bag, worth the price. I also assume that the delays in shipping were as a result of recent issues the USPS has been having, and isn't a common occurrence.

Would be & Should be Waterproof!!! Cotton Canvas will get soaked in downpour? Something to think about maybe. Dell Respond & Give Me an Answer Please!
