Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've deployed hundreds of these and they're great! I have deployed hundreds these NComputing devices in a variety of network infrastructures and platforms. They are reliable and easy to use and maintain. I have created several scenarios within Enterprise networks using L300s and have attached these devices to virtual machines. Each device be managed remotely using remote desktop or any other service such as Team Viewer, etc because each device creates an entirely separate session/machine from a single workstation. I have had 40 L300's attached to a single Core i7 workstation running Windows 7 Pro and Office 2013; each having their own desktop and Windows profile, etc. They are great when you need to have a large multi-user environment setup in a very short period of time and with little hardware/software resources! Rated 3 out of 5 by from The nComputing products are great, but the company lacks with performing timely updates to the software. We've had several instances when Windows would apply an update and it would negatively affect our nComputing units (not allowing users to log on to multiple terminals) and we would have to go back and hunt down which Windows update caused the unit not to work and uninstall it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I trialed a few of these when rolling out thin clients for a shop floor. We had a number of issues setting up and managing these that caused us to go for a different option. I think they would be ok for a few choice areas but for a manufacturing floor I dont think they would hold up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than some Once I got it working it was great and has been up and running for over 2 weeks now without a problem. I couldn't give it 5 stars because in order to get it to work I had to give it a static IP address otherwise it would constantly drop the connection. The other downside is you have to install their software on what ever you are connecting to. Originally I wanted to have this connect straight to a Terminal Server but I didn't want to install their software on it, so I have it going to a virtual PC instead. So if you can live with that, it's a pretty good buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The L300 and vSpace server configured quickly and easily; an integrated kiosk mode makes it really easy to set up a secure kiosk with little effort. I am disappointed however with the performance that I am experiencing. I am using these as kiosks to present a webpage or more specifically a search catalog at a public library. The issue is when scrolling web pages; it is not as fluid as when using a PC. I don%u2019t know if this is normal or not because I have nothing to compare with. I have been in contact with NComputing support and have tried different browsers and system configurations. I have not read any other reviews complaining about this issue so it might be something on my end or maybe this is normal and my expectations are too high. While I%u2019m not thrilled with the scrolling performance it is acceptable for our needs. That being said, I%u2019m impressed with the size of the unit and how little power it uses, not to mention saving about 75% over deploying a PC for the same use. I consider our use of the L300 %u201Clight duty%u201D and for this it is fine but I could not recommend it for anything more as I have not tested it in that capacity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We have tested these as a possible replacement for desktops at several sites for different uses. Easy to configure and set up. Plays streaming HD with no problems. Just wish we could find more uses for em!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L300 is a solid performer I use this product every day at work and it has been a consistent performer. Flash video sucks a lot of power from the host machine but for most of the day we have 30 people running multiple windows off a core i7 with 18gb of RAM. I would recommend taking the jump with this product is has great opportunity to save money on the short and long term time frame.
