I was hesitant to spend this much as first but it was totally worth it! Great range - even outside. The router is set up in the basement where I plan to have my switch and other toys installed.

I have gone through several WiFi routers that are supposed to be designed for the whole home but I've still always had to buy a couple of range extenders to get adequate signal throughout my home. Since installing the Nighthawk AX12, I have not had to use any extenders. This router gives me full signal throughout my entire home and I don't have any buffering when streaming on multiple devices. It was also very easy to set up. I highly recommend this device to everyone!

With my 802.11ac interface on my PC I was able to achieve 1.7 Gb speeds.There is a huge potintial in this router. Looking forward to upcoming software updates with new features.
