Nessus Cloud is Tenable's hosted, cloud-based vulnerability management solution that combines the powerful detection, scanning and auditing features of Nessus, the world's most widely deployed vulnerability scanner, with multi-user support enabling extensive collaborative capabilities of scanners and resources. Nessus Cloud is Tenable's Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) solution for validating adherence to certain PCI DSS requirements by performing vulnerability scans of Internet facing environments.
Nessus Cloud provides managed access to all resources based on user and/or group permissions, enabling access to and sharing of scanners, scan results, scan schedules and policies. These collaborative features reduce the time and cost of security scanning and compliance auditing programs by streamlining vulnerability scanning, streamlining the discovery of malware and misconfigurations, and accelerating the remediation process. Quarterly scan reports may be submitted to Tenable's certified PCI ASV engineers for validation and approval.
