Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broken AudioPicture is amazing, however the audio is only a loud screeching regardless of input port. Audio out port is also only loud screeching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good ProductWorks nicely, only complaint is most generic ceiling mounts do not attach to this projector without some modifications. Otherwise would give 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Noise Is Awful Like A Dog Whistle! My unit makes a high pitched noise that I can hear but the wife can't. The kids can hear it too. The noise is almost like a dog whistle. I assume it is coming from the fan but it is not a normal noise. It also has a band of light that projects outside the felt frame on my screen, about five inches. I can live with the light but not the noise. The picture quality is excellent unless you use dynamic black and then it has flashes of brightness changes. This is the second Optoma projector I have owned. The first gave me several years of excellent service and is still working well for its new owner. I purchased this unit because I had been so happy with my first unit. I am considering sending it back if I can fix the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No horizontal adjustment possibleThis is a good projector in many ways - double hdmi inputs, speaker, audio out socket, much higher definition than the Epson EBSO3 it replaced. But we project from a cabinet which is not centred on the screen. The Epson had a simple manual adjustment to swing the projection image to adjust for this (ie horizontal keystone adjustment. This projector has vertical keystoning but no horizontal. Tedious. So back it has to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed- Lights out!I bought this in Dec 2018, 8 months ago. I loved the image even though I had a weird black shadowy bother on the edges. I loved it. Then all of a sudden the bulb indicator turns red, the bulb is out. really after 8 months with minimal use... I am returning this. please let me know where to send it for repairs... Disappointed in Charlotte NC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cant complainHD143x , i did loooong research about projectors with price range 200$-800$, and that one was my choice and it was the right one, its hooked up temporarily seating on the floor shooting netflix to the wall for now ,i've got amazin picture distance 12'6" and 115" of screen view , now i know what kind a screen i need .Yes it's true might not be good for day light but for day light You could get black screen im using my projector for watching movies in the basement so i cant complain at all ,highly recommended product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High pitch noise is unbearableI purchased this model about 1 week ago and I noticed a high pitch noise so I returned the unit and Costco immediately sent a new one. Just received the new unit and the same high pitch noise is still there. The image quality is excellent but the shrieking noise ruins the experience. You cant really hear it if you turn up the volume really high but watching a movie with quiet scenes makes you realise how annoying that sound it. Will return the second unit and look at another company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good ProjectorI bough this projector for home cinema. This has very good sharp images. Brightness is good for ambient light but not for daylight. The menu time-out is too short and keep getting away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst thing I've ever boughtI bought this six months ago.I was astonished to find what a poorly constructed, cheap piece of plastic it was. But far worse was that this doesn't work. It takes about 10 minutes for the lamp to turn on each time - seriously! It didn't come with cables to attach to a Mac, and the instructions were awful and incomprehensible, so that I couldn't find out the correct cables I needed to buy. (I took it to electronic stores but nobody could decipher the terrible instructions from Optoma either. Finally after 7 weeks, I found the correct cable. It worked once for all of two minutes. Now it says it cannot find the source. We have tried trouble shooting everything, but Optoma's instructions do not help.
