Average text image quality. Difficult to reach and use setup buttons
We are a software company and have used Planar monitors for years. Consequently, text quality is most important to us. In recent years, Planar product text quality has declined, and the most recent monitors (the PXL2780MW which we just purchased) continue that downward trend. We will be looking at other manufacturers in the future. Also, the "setup" buttons are located at the bottom of the bezel, and since they come out of the box with a short time-out period, they are truly hard to use. This would be a fairly minor issue were the text/image quality as good as in the past, but combined with the only average text quality, it is another nail in their coffin for us.
