Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice device, would be better if it was DECT GAP I like this device, however it would be nice if it was DECT GAP compatible so it could be registered with a DECT base station.  I have no phone cabling in my home office and don't want to run cables around the house.  As it is, I now need to buy another extension device to act as the DECT extension.Proving a basic free non-corporate SIP software dialer would be useful for home office.  Skype is a very limited option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique device - met most my requirments Purchased the P835-M in June 2013, and I was very glad to have found the integration device I was looking for. I use it to connect to land line, pc and cell - and the entire functionality works for me (home office setup). I can place and receive calls from the device w/o problem. The UI is pretty basic, but functional. Would have helped if a bit more thought would have been put into it. (some other users noted a few quirks, which I won't repeat, but confirm). One issue I had, I could not connect to a pair of expensive Sennheiser bluetooth headphone. I connected a basic wired headphone to it and that worked ok. So bluetooth connectivity is picky, and should be fixed. Another issue: I tried to use the device with Avaya One-X communicator software, and that didn't work too well. Eventually I've abandoned the idea of using onex at all and uninstalled it. Not sure if related, but I'm a bit suspicious since I've seen some errors between onex and plantronics drivers: I have periodic out of memory problems with my Windows 7 installation, and I'm not sure if it is due to P835 drivers... Since the product is no longer manufactured, I'm concerned that the software which comes with it is no longer maintained, and that would be a pitty, because it works for me, and I plant to keep it as long as it lasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Virtual Office User I live on the phone and if you like me wireless headsets are great till the battery goes dead or bad! The 800 series I have had for a year at least now. Paired to my Cell phone, land line and Lync. I also use it with Dragon Naturally Speaking for all my emails, even WebEx, Lync Goto Meeting without a problem! Also use Google voice!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Paperweight I love Plantronics products, but this was the most expensive paperweight I've ever bought.Everything works fine IF you don't have to call anyone. The "logical" buttons do not work, no matter how you try them. So, you have a phone you can not dial (only receive calls).Apart from that, everything works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It would be better if if has physical button Basically, greate product. But in my case, Clock only displays minute without hour when it is connected to PC. Touch button feedback and sensitivity is little bit poor. There is no exit button. When I hang up a call, I should wait until "Add favorate..."text disappears. Automatic bluetooth device connection is needed for headset and mobile phone. Mute button don't need to be such a large size. Voice quality for mobile bluetooth connection is little bit poor. It would be better if it has customized text display for ideling mode. Optional mic need to have power off switch. It can't be used during I use bluetooth headset.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great, if you don't need to dial '1' The quality of the speakerphone is really well. I use it for all my voice and Skype-voice calls. BUT now the '1' button does not work about 75% of the time which is very annoying. I have to use another phone to press it, as in when checking voicemail.
