Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointment The zipper sliders on the laptop section came off of the tracks. This happened only a year and a half after I purchased this backpack. I was completely surprised and disappointed to see that the warranty was expired. I made the purchase directly from Samsonite. I've always known Samsonite to have quality products which is why I chose them for a backpack. I also got two luggage pieces which i am now nervous whether they will last long or give me the same problems. Overall a disappointment with the price of the product having such a failure and lack of warranty to back it up.. buyer beware.

He loves how it fits everything including several books, laptop, special compartment for phone and sunglasses and it doesn't hurt his back! He loves the accent color red and he told me he thinks he will have this backpack for many years as it seems to be extremely heavy duty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again I use the backpack to travel between work locations on foot (about 1 mile each way). I use to carry a shoulder strap bag (Tumi) which I had for 15 years. Say goodbye to back issues, at least attributable to the strap bag. So far so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not well-made After only a couple weeks, the cheap metal pieces on the front of the bag popped out of their holes, so now this bag catches on EVERYTHING. Also, now that there are unfinished holes in the fabric, it's starting to fray in those spots. I bought this because I thought Samsonite was a well-made brand, but apparently not.

Problem is I haven't even had it for more than 2 years and it already fails on me. And I rarely fully pack it, the moment I do... It broke huge time. Poor selection with the fabric for the straps. Other than that it's still holding up and I'm just awaiting it's total demise.

I have it for less then three months and the seams are coming apart, the straps are ripping off and zippers do not hold. The customers service is inexistant at Samsonite. I cannot recommande this product. I will certainly never buy Samsonite product after such a bad experience.

My friend reported that the shoulder strap frayed on the first use-- I suppose that slinging it on one shoulder was a design weakness rather than using both. My bag's stitching came undone at the top of the bag alongside where the laptop is stowed. Samsonite is a great brand, but this is on clearance for a reason.

I would recommend this bag to everyone. I carry a 17' laptop, a Windows tablet, an iPad, a Palm size drill and bit set, an external HDD, and writing utensils. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second backpack from Samsonite I have 2 laptops, iPad, HDMI cables, chargers with cords, mobile wifi, business cards, presentation clicker, some paper files, gum, candies and protein bars. The bag is heavy when loaded but the handles and straps are sturdy. The luggage strap is crucial for me. My first bag exactly like this one lasted 3+ years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Depends on your needs This backpack is incredibly spacious and incredibly comfortable. However, I use it on a daily basis and walk 1.5 miles with this backpack. The fabric on the back rubs against the clothing on my back and wears out/ruins the fabric. I don't know what I can do prevent this issue from happening, but do not buy this backpack if you plan on hiking or wearing with clothing that is made with a cotton material.

The holding straps can be tightened to grip your body very well so there's no jiggling around, and the Laptop compartment can hold an MSI GE72 Laptop which is big, but it does it with considerable ease. I can still pack a charger, binders and some books in this backpack with the laptop in it. A very good buy for Students.

The seams have torn in several places to the point where the inside compartments are no longer separate. For the price, this is was not a good purchase. I could've saved a lot of money and purchased something for much less and then I wouldn't feel cheated if it didn't last. Until now, I've always counted on Samsonite for quality, long-lasting products.

I recently was in an accident where I was thrown from the bike at over 50 mph and slid on pavement for over 100ft and the backpack survived the whole ordeal. The zippers were clearly damaged, but still work. The fabric was barely torn at all. This is the BEST backpack I have ever owned!!

This design flaw makes the main compartment difficult to access, when the smallest pouch is in use. I did like the bag though. I wish it came in blue.

Unfortunately the quality is just not there. Both shoulder straps are severely fraying. The Samsonite logo buttons in several area have come off and stitching on the side is also fraying. I will be taking into a samsonite outlook and hopefully the can repair or replace without giving me a hard time.

Best bag on market for my price range and needs.Large enough to carry work laptop 15inch and surface book laptop comfortably. I looked at this bag and knew it would be popular choice. Wanted to get a bag that stands out. Was at airport on few occasions where i stood behind someone with same bag which is why i would like different color. Only problem i had was zipper. Besides the fact I carried two laptops, the warranty did not cover zippers from what i was told. Bought in US but traveled throughout Middle East. Took it to service center in Jeddah, and was told nothing can be done at all not even a repair. Will try to get serviced in states when ever i get back. Bags here are over priced. Refuse to buy another bag because prices are higher than what they cost online and at home. Tough to order online because i travel sporadically & i like to see and feel what i'm ordering. Great bag though. Price dropped so i might reorder, until then tough it out.

At first it seemed great but we had a problem with the laptop zipper and he is a rightie so the left strap deteriorated quickly. We replaced it around Christmas is Senior year but it didn't last through his freshman year at college.
