SIIG's USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station is designed to expand connectivity to your Ultrabook or Hybrid tablet, laptop and desktop via a single USB 3.0 port. It features dual display ports (1 HDMI and 1 DVI) to enhance your system's display capability, supporting HD resolutions and multiple display modes including primary, extended and mirrored. This USB 3.0 universal docking station offers 6 USB ports (2 USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0) to satisfy multiple device connectivity needs. It also includes Gigabit Ethernet, headphone and microphone ports to provide convenient connections. It is a versatile USB 3.0 Universal Docking Station to instantly expand and enhance your system's connectivity performance.

The full speed of the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station is unleashed when connected to one of your laptop's USB 3.0 ports. The five gigabit per second SuperSpeed USB connection enables you to add two additional monitors at HD resolution (in Primary, Extend or Mirror modes), stream video over a gigabit Ethernet connection, and transfer files over the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station's two USB 3.0's ports. Although the best performance is achieved by using your computer's USB 3.0 port, the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station still offers incredible functionality when connected to a USB 2.0 port. That USB 2.0 connection, however will limit the docking station's total bandwidth to 480Mbps, limiting the data transfer rate of the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station's USB ports and the speed of the Ethernet port.

Need to use any bus-powered USB devices like flash drives or webcams? The included power supply provides up to four amps to the docking station for any attached bus-powered USB 2.0 or 3.0 devices.

Unlike other USB 3.0 docking stations, the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station provides fast charging on one of its BC 1.2 compliant USB 3.0 ports when the computer is powered off or disconnected from the docking station.

By utilizing the DisplayLink DL-3900 chipset, the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station expands your laptop's capabilities while eliminating the need for many individual USB dongles: USB to Ethernet adapter, USB graphics adapter, USB 2.0 and 3.0 hubs, etc... With the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station, you can either extend your Windows desktop or mirror it on up to two attached monitors.

When streaming a video, surfing the web or editing a Word document, the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station doesn't degrade the graphics performance of your laptop, because your computer's graphics processing unit (GPU) and CPU still perform the heavy lifting. The data output from those processors is what's sent over the USB link to the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station, which then relays the pixel information to the connected monitors over the DVI and HDMI ports. Graphics performance isn't the only thing that's unlimited: the USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station supports an almost endless list of monitor resolutions: all the way from 640x480 up to 2048x1152.

Speaking of productivity, the 3.5mm 2.1 channel audio output and microphone input jacks are great for voice chat and conference calls.

The USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station is ready to go anywhere you do because SIIG includes three different AC plugs (one each for the US, UK and EU) along with the power adapter that's included with each USB 3.0 Universal Dual Video Docking Station. SIIG also throws in a USB 3.0 cable, stand holder for vertical mounting, an installation guide and a software CD for installing the drivers.

Both the HDMI and DVI monitor outputs support standard (16:9) and widescreen (16:10) aspect ratios at maximum resolution of 2048x1152. In fact, the list of supported resolutions include 1920x1080, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900, 1280x1024 and even lo
