The IMS Ultra Low Temperature Sensor in Glass Bead Vial is used exclusively with the Sensaphone IMS systems to measure and provide real time ultra low temperatures of objects in a freezer. By placing the sensor in a bottle filled with glass beads users will receive a reading that represents the temperature of the freezer's contents rather than the ambient air temperature. The system will go into alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low limit. The sensor's external temperature probe is coated to prevent cracking and allows it to be placed inside of freezers that go as low as -85°C. The sensor is ideal for medical or research cold storage freezers that keep a constant temperature below the limits of other Sensaphone temperature sensors. The included 12 feet of coated wire can be extended with optional accessory wire.
