Building upon the initial WildFire integration capabilities, Traps now allows an automatic upload of executable files to the Palo Alto Networks WildFire cloud for further analysis of potentially, unknown threats. In addition, the Traps advanced execution control now provides more granular protection at the local level for organizations requiring greater control over which executables can run on their networks. More granular execution restrictions allow organizations to reduce the attack surface by specifying execution rules based on folder locations, device restrictions, child processes, and unsigned executables.
