Tripp Lite's IS1000 offers 1000 watts capacity with 4 widely spaced output receptacles, a 6 ft power cord, circuit breaker overload protection and lighted power switch. Rugged all-metal unit housing ships ready for upright tower or wallmount placement in industrial, medical, office or network environment. Tripp Lite Isolator series isolation transformers offer complete line isolation, continuous noise filtering and enhanced common mode surge suppression. Internal low-impedance isolation transformer component with Faraday Shield offers 100% isolation from the input AC line. Secondary neutral to ground bonding eliminates common mode noise, providing an isolated ground reference for sensitive equipment and an inexpensive alternative to the installation of dedicated circuits and site electrical upgrades. Removes EMI/RFI noise, utility switching transients, backround spikes generated by other on-site loads and utility or lightning related surge conditions. Additional surge suppression components placed at both the line input and transformer output combined with full line isolation offers continuous line filtering of a full range of power line noise in all modes. Active transformer filtering with no wearable parts is uniquely able to reduce surges in the worst of power environments to harmless levels. Reduces 6000V IEEE587 Cat AandB ring wave and combination wave test surges to only 0.5V common mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 byFrancis from Good quality, solved the targeted problemI used this to float my audio system, I live in an old neighborhood with several amps of mysterious ground current that are caused presumably by a high-resistance neutral from the homes of one of my neighbors. the current caused buzzing noise on my audio system. With the IS1000, my system is completely quiet. Build quality is good, mine has a toroid transformer and beefy outlets. Makes no audible noise in my install.

Rated 5 out of 5 byFred M from Save your Oscilloscope - Isolate the Hot, Neutral & GroundI am using this device the Tripp Lite IS1000 to isolate the Hot, Neutral & Ground so that I do not get shocked and do not blow up my Oscilloscope. The IS1000 as received has to be modified by simply removing a single wire that ties ground and neutral together. Youtube has several videos on how to modify the IS1000. I have been using this for several months now it is working perfectly.

So I did some research & decided to give the IS1000 a try & after a year of continuous service I know I made the right decision. This unit function's flawlessly, is quiet, built like a tank, is cost effective & has an impressive design.
