Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the bomb if you are running sensitive Equipment.I use this in my post-production Audio/Video Studio. I know my equipment is running at the proper voltage and most of all protected by brown outs, power outages, etc. I love to just glance and see the gauge lights of how my electricity is running into the building. I've been using Tripp-Lite products since the Early 1990's and will only purchase Tripp-Lite. A+++ Rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consumer NeedThe informed consumer realizes the need for spike and surge protection. Very few realize that voltage fluctuations can also be harmful. I have use Tripp Lite products for over 20 years professionally. (Isobar Utlra devices) In that time, I have had one failure and that failure was caused by extreme voltage fluctuations. The cause was a bad 30,000 watt generator. The LCR2400 failed in the effort to correct the extreme and severe problem, but my gear was not harmed. The interesting thing about the LCR2400 is that line fluctuations you did not know exist are now displayed. This allows the user to make an informed decision that will prevent failures and damage. It would be a good idea to put line voltage Level Meters on all Tripp Lite products. The LCR2400 is a useful professional and consumer device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased to smooth flow from emergency generatorIn preparing for hurricane season I tuned up the emergency generator and re-stocked my survival supplies. This generator carried us for 8 days the last hurricane. Then my wife says: "if it eats a circuit board in our high-tech fridge again I want a whole new fridge". I went to the generator manual and it says that one must use a 'line conditioner' for delicate electronics. Since we have a new flat-screen TV since last emergency use, I figured we don't want to purchase a new refrigerator AND a new TV. Hence, this purchase. Have tested it for a full 4 hour run and, so far, no blown circuits boards. Hah! the fridge stays! This thing is HEAVY! It must have a lot of stuff inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to...I maintain a remotely controlled EMS radio site that is deep in a national forest. Power there is either too low a voltage, or too high, and rarely correct. The LCR2400 does a great job in compensating for the changing voltage, and protects about $40K worth of radio equipment. It has worked 24/7 for over two years with no problems. Highly recommend it !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pro audioBought 2 of the LCR2400 conditioners. We have one in each of our power amp racks. we have venuRockin Robines with low power. Since installing the Tripp-lite units be have never had a problem. The p.a. sounds great . Also since going to Digital mixers it is a great product to insure the mixers are running at proper voltage. Great investment

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertisedTripp-Lite LCR2400, 2400 Watt 3U rack-Mount Power Conditioner works as advertised. It provides protection and very stable voltage to my expensive stereo equipment. But Tripp-Lite seems to be missing the boat, by not building this unit in a more attractive case for the Audio File and Home Theater community which could be a gold mine for Tripp-Lite. Example; Remove the duplex outlet on the front panel, remove the circuit breaker from the front and put it on the back side. Redo the readout lights on the front panel replacing some with a LED digital voltage meter plus install a 12 volt output trigger to power on attached equipment on the LCR2400. The Trip-Lite logo should be reduced in size and placed off to the side. The price would naturally need to be increased by at least $100 but well worth the extra money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from surpise benefitI just purchased this line conditioner. Haven't had a surge problem yet, but the unit has a line fault warning, which triggered, so I thought the unit was defective. I plugged the unit into other outlets, and didn't get the same warning, telling me the problem was real and specific to this outlet. The unit essentially told me that the contractor didn't wire this newly installed outlet correctly. So I made the contractor come back and fix it. Worth the money right there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding QualityI was really taken back at the quality of this piece of equipment. Built like a tank. Top notch workmanship. Went right into the rack, no hum or buzzing. I tried to over load the filtering with rf noise and lighting. NO bleed thru. All PA systems should have this. Far, far better than the compediters i've been looking at. Furman, Monster, nor any of the others can come close to this one.
