Rated 5 out of 5 byEnergylady from Compact, good protection and warrantyI bought the TrippLite to protect my laptop, which contains business and personal files and software. I am happy with the compact size of the unit, the high level of protection provided, and the surprisingly good warranty. My only minor complaint is when I have to crawl under the desk occasionally to unplug my laptop, it is very difficult to remove the laptop plug from the Tripp Lite.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDaniel from Serious protection when you can't reach your other SPI have a sound bar surround sound system that has a wireless subwoofer that attaches to the left and right surround speakers. So the subwoofer is behind the couch. Clearly I am not going to run wires back to the TV to share that power strip. And I was really not looking forward to buying a whole surge protector for just the subwoofer. Well here comes this little device. This thing has more protection (measured in joules, 1080) than most full strips at Best Buy. It fits my outlet well and apparently will turn off permanently when the protection is gone, which is great for letting you know when you HAVE to get a new one to be protected. The USB ports work, they are fast but they take a while to ramp up to full speed charging on my Pixel.My sound bar model has been discontinued. If the subwoofer fries, I would be hard pressed to get the same quality for anywhere near the price. I am relying on this little device to protect the part of my home theater that couldn't reach my other Tripp Lite surge protector, and so far it's doing a great job!

It is important for me to protect my laptop and thanks to tripp lite I am now safe at coffee shops and hotels. The only con is that I wish it had a little more length, but to be fair, this is not an extension cord and does what it says - I love the usb ports, I use them to charge my cell phone and extended battery on my down time and have had zero issues.
