90% of the way there
The keyboard will not hold closed under the power of the built-in magnet because the case border is too large to allow the keyboard to close tight enough. This is not the case with UAG's other case, at least on Surface Pro 3. Otherwise really solid.

Bought mine on AM**** (Wonder-Woman store ... if you see what I mean ...)
Installing the Surface inside was very easy ... removing it is more tricky.
Once installed, the surface wont go anywhere, it's very comfy and protected.
The look is amazing, the military stylish.
The handstrap is excellent, it fits the hand, the strap is large enough not to hurt ...
On the other way, the shoulder strap ... looks solid, but I won't have the opportunty to use it.
I now can wander around without worrying for the safety of my surface.
I highly recommend it !

Web purchase and delivery: excellent.
Durable item, no distress with daily use in varied environments. I have not yet personally dropped tested to date so unable to qualify that aspect of protection. Pen has never left the receiver unless actively removed, good snug fit.
Reasoning for 4 rather than 5 stars: shoulder strap attachment is on the open end of keyboard not hinge side resulting in keyboard falling open and off of the magnetic hinge, inadvertent drop test of kb. I tend to carry by putting my hand in the web strap and turning the open end down, using the shoulder strap around the keyboard for added protection vs over the shoulder.
Secondly, the corner closure tog is insufficient to the size and weight of the keyboard when carried upright it does not consistently contain the kb closed.

Plasma Series for surface pro 4
Love it for use at school and when I’m home doing school work. I researched for hours trying to find a case that had a handle comfortable enough for me to hold while doing school work for several hours. The little tab at the top secures my keyboard well. The only design I would change would be on the side where the charger connects, which is about a 1” rubber piece and it’s loose feeling but the rest of the case is sealed securely around the tablet.

The best technology accessory
I purchased the UAG Plasma series case for my MS Surface Pro that I use at work. I am frequently on job sites and needed an effective way to hold the surface while I work and walk. Has just about everything
I just got this case in the mail today (3 days after placing my order). It seems very sturdy and had no problems putting it on my Surface Pro 4. It has just about everything I was looking for in a case. My device feels very protected, the pen stays in place, it works with the keyboard, charging and docking work with the case on, and it has a functional hand strap that doesn't make you cover the camera. If I were to be picky, I would say I wish there more positions you could lock the stand into. I would also say it would be nice to have a customer service phone number or chat versus just email or social media. Overall, a very nice case. We will see how it fares overtime.

Awesome case
Love this case, especially being able to hold the tablet solidly with one hand. The stand doesn't recline as much as the built-in stand, which is not a big issue. The corner clip for holding the keyboard could be improved as sometime it releases. But overall, very happy with the case.

Kickstand
What happened to the kickstand? I can no longer kick it all the way back. Back to putting a towel behind it. Come up with a fix because the rest of it is awesome. Perfect my work in the wireless construction industry. Making notes while I do construction walks is a must and this does it all for me.

I love every thing about this case. I only wish that the strap could be removed and put back on easily without having to take the case off and i wish that the mini bungee that keep the lid closed was positioned better so that the lid actually stays closed. Keeping the keyboard lid closed with the case is next to impossible. But I love the idea of the case and I love the strap in the back for my hand, makes it easy to go to job sites and work on plans as I am going through the facility!

Surface Pro Case
I have been searching for a product that makes the Surface Pro Portable for my business environment. I am in sales and a road warrior. All of my sales are supported by the Surface Pro. I do like the Urban Armor Surface Pro Case with the Handstrap. The one issue that I have found is the shoulder strap attachments should have been located at the bottom of the case too. This make it easier to carry the Surface Pro with the Keyboard attached. Otherwise the Keyboard flops open. Also you can keep the screen rotation lock ON when raising the case upwards to write on it.

The product is high quality in general. Feels sturdy, the hand strap is fantastic. Only two things are bothering me. One is the case above the charging port. I realize it's going to be weaker due to how it has to be structured, but it bows away from the unit leaving a small gap which is always in my view when using it. The other is the kick stand. It doesn't like to stay in place if I have to move the unit, and constantly wants to close. The stand on the Metropolis unit is more adjustable and actually clicks into place when using it. Maybe my unit is just slightly defective

Great for those with limited hand function
The shoulder strap makes picking up the tablet very easy with limited hand function. The only change I would like to see is the type cover restraint. It needs to cover more of the corner of the keyboard.
