Zscaler Direct-to-Cloud Network (DCN) ensures advanced security and policy compliance for all users, across all devices and locations while simultaneously providing IT administrators' in-depth visibility and control over all their user traffic. With its patented Nanolog technology, Zscaler consolidates logs from all users globally into a central repository in real time. The Zscaler Analytics portal provides IT administrators a single pane of glass through which they can view and mine transaction data across devices, applications and locations.

For organizations that need to transfer their Zscaler weblogs to the enterprise SIEM, Zscaler provides Nanolog Streaming Service (NSS) as an optional add-on feature. NSS is provided as a virtual machine installed within the customer's network. NSS connects to the cloud Nanologs and streams out all logs for the company to the corporate SIEM or other storage devices in real-time. The protocol used by NSS to retrieve logs from the cloud is highly secure and guarantees that the logs cannot be tampered with in transit.

By using NSS, Zscaler customers can ensure compliance with regulatory mandates on local log archival. Sending web log data to the SIEM also facilitates log correlation from multiple devices, thus allowing organizations to analyze traffic patterns across their entire network. Additionally, organizations can leverage web log data in the SIEM to conduct extended historical analysis.

Zscaler Nanolog Streaming Service - management fee ( 1 year ) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from No need to maintain multiple devices on the data center and secure entire traffic. Valuable Features:Zscaler is securing entire cooperate traffic using its different modules. This includes URL & aapplication filtering, malware & threat protection, bandwidth control, sand boxing and advanced fire-walling etc. Specifically, I like the URL filtering/user authentication. DLP and firewall features are also an added advantages. Also, there are various traffic forwarding mechanisms such GRE, pac file, VPN etc.Improvements to My Organization:Since this is a cloud based product, we don't have to bother about the hardware/physical status and space. No need to monitor and manage the hardware. If there's an issue, Zscaler will switchover to another node to process the customer traffic.Room for Improvement:Using location admin users should be better so we can merge any centralized authentication servers like AD, Radius, and any other server. This would help centralize the server management. v5.2 is being released shortly, and will have a lot of new features for TLS and HTTPS transactions.Use of Solution:Morethan 6 yearsDeployment Issues:NOStability Issues:Initially there were issues interms of stability and improved a lot now.Scalability Issues:Zscaler is very easy to scale.Technical Support:They have very excellent support teamOther Solutions Considered:It's an excellent product, and there's no need to worry about the hardware and maintenance cost.Other Advice:We can manage our IT rules and policies using online portal.Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.
