Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly big I had the 18 inch version before for my old Alienware 18, when I got the Area 51M I ordered this and when it turned up I compared it to the 18 inch version, it was pretty much the same size so I put my Alienware 18 in it to confirm it fit perfectly. I wish I'd known as my old bag has had a broken zipper for about a year so I would've replaced it if I'd known it would've fit. Oh well, it works perfectly for the A51M too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it. Heck, everyone loves it. This bag is great! It easily fits my 17.3" gaming laptop (in the designated TSA section) with room to spare... for maybe even an 18". It's well padded. It also holds my 15" laptop (in the also padded middle zippered section). So that's 2x laptops, 2x power supply's, 2x mice, Beats Pro headset (in the 1st zippered compartment), and other random files & gear. Plus it looks like a beast and everyone asks about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The designer of the pockets of this backpack was from Flatland This backpack is extremely sturdy and comfortable to lug 20 pounds of stuff across the airport, but if you have any small round items you are going to have a tough time organizing them, because the height of the openings of most of the pockets are too small to squeeze anything into. They concede as much by giving you an unattached baglet to put your power supply in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built but missing some key features The bag is plenty large and well built. I like the large roomy compartments. But it does not stand up when you put it on a flat surface. This makes it difficult to pack. While it has some little zipper pockets on the side straps, it would be very useful to have some pockets on the front to store keys and other things where you need easy access. And, while it fits onto the pull bar of carry-on luggage, you have to turn it sideways - which is odd and makes it difficult to access the inside without spilling things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dont Buy this. I bought this to Carry a new Alienware 17 Laptop and it is not fit for purpose. Firstly the laptop barely fits in the bag resulting in very little protection for the laptop. Secondly, the strap broke off the bag causing the bag and laptop to fall and get damaged. When I called dell to complain they told me to just write a letter. Love the Alienware Laptop but do yourself a favour and spend your money elseware on a better backpack.

There's a tough exterior, plenty of room for stuff other than your laptop, room for something even larger than an Alienware 17 R4, and excellent straps with a chest loop. If I had a complaint, it would be that the logo basically is an advertisement to savvy thieves that there might be something worth snatching in there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious, sturdy, comfortable The 2,483-cubic-inch Vindicator 2.0 Backpack is spacious (15.5" wide × 22.5" high × 7.1" deep) and sturdy. The padded, adjustable, non-slip chest / shoulder straps keep the 4.2-pound pack surprisingly light and comfortable even when full of devices, media, office supplies, clothes, and refreshments. Pack uses high-density nylon throughout, with a non-slip weather-resistant base and a carrying handle. Includes 27 sections: 3 external, 2 padded for 17.3" notebook + 12" tablet, 16 for media / headphones / office, 4 for clothes / refreshments, 1 for power adapter, and 1 concealed, with 14 zippers (9 outside + 5 inside). I enjoy using it daily, and have no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of room This bag has tons of room for everything. I prefer to use a wireless keyboard and mouse which both fit nicely. In addition I tote around my 25 key mini audio keyboard, my wacom mobile companion drawing tablet, my wireless studio headphones (in their hard carrying case), and tons of wires for all my gear. All this and there's still room to spare. My only complaint would be that the front buckle for the chest strap is kind of plain. Everything else about the bag is super stylized to impress. But the buckle is just cheap plastic that looks pretty fragile. This is a very minor issue though. Overall I think it it very good.

My Alienware R4 is pretty heavy along with all of my accessories, and this bag feels like its straps can handle the weight easily. This is a MUST have for serious transporter gamers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings Purchased this backpack about two months ago after I was unable to find any other bag that would accommodate the oddball shape of the Alienware 17 R4. The backpack seems to be well made, but thus far I've only taken a few trips with it so it's still too early to comment on durability IMO. There is also plenty of room inside for the 17 R4, power brick, mouse, mouse pads, cables and various and assorted other equipment that I need to carry on the job. It's fairly comfortable even with a full load of about 30 pounds. My only real complaint about the backpack is that it's difficult to reach some of the internal organization pouches while the backpack is fully loaded. This may not sound like a big deal, but it is enough of a pain in the neck to keep me from giving the backpack 4 1/2 or five stars.

Computer fits fine, but once you add in the mouse and power supply, it doesn’t leave much room for anything else. If you want to add headphones as the website suggests, forget about it. Maybe it’s just me, but I doubt it. bag is nicely constructed...just too small.

Only one little thing is the reason why I don't give 5 stars is there is no small outside pocket. For your wallet, passport, keys, charger for phone, just smaller items you want quick access to. Maybe an idea for 3.0 I would buy it imediatelly. Stevie

I personally wish it was bigger for other items. Overall, I still enjoy the bag. It's stylish and allows me to carry my computer without any efforts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor quality I purchase this backpack in february and in the first month of use the earphones holder broke, I contacted dell and they replaced right away, but now my second backpack broke from the reflective part of the shoulder straps. I only use my backpack from my house to the car and from the car to my office, and yet it broke so fast, I have had another backpacks that where half the price of this one last for years without any issues, Im very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alienware Style and full of functionality You know a gaming laptop bag is attractive when even women complement you on it - or how the theme of your laptop, headset and peripherals match it. I bought the Alienware Vindicator 17" because I own both a 15" alienware laptop and a 17" and I wanted to have the maximum amount of carry space possible. there is an 18", but I don't like it as much because it lacks the blue trim stitching. I've traveled with this bag to Thailand and the Philippines on Philippine Airlines, Emirates , Korean and Asiana Business Class. As a travel bag, it works perfectly because it fits in overhead storage bins standardized by FAA regulations and it's very comfortabel when worn on both arms or even just one arm. It is better to wear it over both arms to make it fit your center of gravity better. As a regular book bag, it's a premium book bag with a handsome look. It looks special, because it is special. Multiple pockets and pouches are inside for your charger, your laptop and other items, but my typical configuration is to put the charger in the bottom center, the laptop in the back of the bag, the mouse under the triad dome and my 510h headphones in the largest pocket area. I pack and unpack this bag daily and it takes me less than a minute to put everything away or take everything out. Two smaller pouches on the sides allow you to store earbug headphones, coins or small items like SD cards. The zippers look great as well: black rubber and blue rubber to match the stiching. The blue stitching is just bright enough against the black and grey to somewhat appear to be RGB-like desight it not being RGB. This was actually a missed opportunity because glow in the dark material here would have really made it stand out. But that's not a knock against what's otherwise a great bag. I'm currently looking at the larger vindicator rolling bag as an addition to my gear but I'd prefer to purchase a suitcase with 25Kg capacity which Alienware doesn't make. Personally, I wouldn't mind using the Vindicator design to create my own Vindicator suitcase since I love the style that much.

My laptop fits snugly into the bag where it is surrounded by padding. It has plenty of room in the other 2 pouches to fit your power supply and other accessories like controller and books.

On the very first use, the zipper slider on the inside of the bag at the bottom of the compartment that holds the laptop, made a large gouge in the top of my brand new laptop. Now I have a chunk missing in the top of my new Alienware laptop. This bag is not recommended as it is a poor design. Not sure why they made it this way. It should have been covered or padded.

This bag has become my travel bag, great to store an HDMI cable in one of the pockets for travel. Delivery was ahead of schedule which was nice.

The quality is pretty good though. It is made of solid material and holds all the tech accessories in place. I will probably give it to a tall friend eventually.

Usually there's a small protected one on laptop bags for those but there is a small one just on the other side of the shell. Other than that it's great. Lots of room after the laptop and of course the brick. Love it.
