The Back-UPS Pro provides abundant battery backup power, so you can work through medium length power outages. It safeguards your equipment against damaging surges and spikes that travel along utility and data lines. The Back-UPS Pro also features automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which instantly adjusts high and low voltages to safe levels, so you can work indefinitely during brownouts and overvoltages.

The Back-UPS Pro also includes unique "green" features, like power-saving outlets that automatically turn off idle peripherals. A high efficiency charging system and "AVR Bypass" also reduce power consumption. With the rest of the Back-UPS Pro's standard features, this is the perfect unit to protect your productivity from the constant threat of bad power and lost data.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great so far - impressedReplaced an older UPS for home desktop and large monitor. Loved the idea of monitoring software and LCD screen display on UPS. (Shows 96 watts / 30 min). Came with a detailed QA test taped to the unit, which made me feel like APC knows what they are doing. No problems with battery charging and setup. Replaceable battery is a big plus for me. Looks like this is a winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another wonderful productThis is my third backup power supply purchase from APC, with another one soon to be added. I won't trust my electrical equipment (computer, stereo, tv, frig, etc.) to anything else. That should say it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!!Traded in a couple of older APC units for this one. A great UPS unit, bar none. Love the status display. It let's me know what is going onwith loads, voltage, etc. Using it for my home theater PC components. This is the 3rd APC unit I have purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Replacement for LS700Found these UPSs to be very dissapointing. Not enough battery-side outlets for my client's accessories and the power management, enabled by default, may shut done your system without warning. Should be disabled by default.Front Panel is pretty but pointless unless your going to monitor your system from the front panel instead of via Powerchute.Currently reviewing UPSs from other manufacturers such as Eaton. Not impressed with the lack of legendary reliablity after having to replace over 100 LS500/LS700s due to connecting/disconnecting error which inevitably will cause your UPS to be useless
