The customer service walks through the tech support playbook, basically reading steps to have you fix your own issue. Uhm, there is Google that does that. I gave up on getting the laptop fixed and gave up on Asus. Never, ever again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price to performance ratio. I bought this product about two months ago and am more than happy with it. The price for the specs it offers is just right, the only downside is that my model had only 8 GB RAM so i had to update it myself. Being a device with Ryzen expect it to get a bit hot, and the fans to be a bit loud but not excessive. The build quality is nice seeing as the laptop seems pretty sturdy when you pick it up. As for gaming performance I get ~35-40 FPS in Red Dead Redemption 2 with everything maxed out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gaming PC Value I bought this laptop understanding that it was not a top of the line gaming PC. However, the specs it comes with and the performance I have experienced so far exceed my expectations. I have done the usual and upgraded the memory and hardrives, but other than that it runs like a champ. Critics will note its build being all plastic, not an issue for me if it performs. Which it does. Crtics will try to say the monitor is not bright, well it's brighter than most other laptops I work on, so this one is a champ! Critics will try to make an issue of the heatsinks and cooling, it just works from my experience. When gaming or I am taxing the CPU, sure the fans are loud, but what laptop isn't? I have used MacBook Pros, high-end business laptops, and desktop PCs. When you put the CPU to work they all kick on the fans and they are all loud. If you only have $1000 to spend on a gaming laptop, this laptop won't disappoint. It's flexibility to upgrade and add HDs, is a bonus! It looks good and it doesn't scream aesthetically look at my gaming laptop. No product is perfect, so I can't end this review with only positive things to say. The one and only improvement I would recommend to ASUS is the size of the keyboard. Keys are fine. The tactile response is good. RGB is fine. The addition of a number pad is great. The problem I have is my left hand tends to hang off the laptop because in order to squeeze the number pad in the keyboard of a 15.4" laptop the spacing is a little tight. I personally would have liked to have a bigger bezel on the keyboard base to more comfortably rest my palm while gaming and typing for long periods of time. However, too me the addition of the number pad outweighs the slight discomfort I sometimes experience when gaming on the cramped keyboard for extended periods of time.

This laptop is pack to the brim with powerful technology at an affordable price. CPU and GPU The TUF FA506IV Gaming Laptop comes with AMD’s latest mobile processors, the 4000 series. The 4000 series are cooler, faster, and more powerful than its intel competitors. It also comes with NVidia RTX 2060 graphics for ray tracing support at below 1000 dollars! A never seen deal in RTX laptops. Memory: This laptop is rocking an 8 GB single channel ram setup. I would recommend you upgrade the ram to 16 GB dual channel by placing another 8 GB ram in there. The benchmarks and game test I will be doing below is all with 16 GBs of ram. Storage: With storage, it comes with 512 GB Western Digital M.2 SSD. There is also another slot M.2 slot where you can expand your drive capacity. Crystal Disk Mark shows that this SSD can Read up to 2473.66 MB/s and write up to 1790.57 MB/s. Really Fast! Screen: The screen is a 1080p 60 HZ display with bright enough screen with a color accuracy of 62.1% sRGB, 43.2% AdobeRGB, 44.3% DCI P3. Really good for a powerful budget laptop! Battery This model comes with a 48 Watt hour battery. For battery Life I saw a 6-hour usage of watching YouTube and doing light tasks (night and day compared to my old laptop at 30 minutes). Gaming on this laptop with get you around one hour (AMAZING!!). Temperature and Cooling: A lot of people have problems with this laptops cooling. However, I did not experience this issue. When gaming on Turbo mode, I saw a max temperature of 87C on the CPU and 80C on the RTX 2060. These are well below the temperature limit of both. At idle, the laptop stayed around 37C for CPU and 42C for GPU on silent mode and the fans turn off too. Near the back you can see two exhaust and an air intake in the middle. The laptop has another exhaust on the right side of the laptop. The keyboard also acts as an air intake and the WASD area stays cool to the touch during intense gaming. Keyboard and Trackpad: The keyboard feels really nice like Asus’s higher tier ROG laptops, and the RGB on the keyboard is a single zone addressable RGB adjustable in Armory Crate. When plug in and in sleeping mode, the keyboard will produce an exciting light show! The track pad is high quality and the click buttons are dedicated with a very satisfying click This laptop does not gather finger prints and it is very easy to wipe clean. Design and ports: The back panel on this laptop is made with metal and have the TUF logo laser on the panel, it looks really slick and does not spit gamer when using It for work or school. Overall this laptop looks really tuf and could withstand a drop here or there in school or work place. For ports, on the right you get a single USB slot, on the left you get the charge port, Ethernet, 2 USB, one USB type c, and headphone combo jack. This is a really neat design choice as no wires will interfere with your mouse on the right side. On the bottom of the laptop you will see a really cool honeycomb design with air intakes designed into it. Lastly, this laptop is really light weight coming in at 4.73 LB for the laptop and 6.42 LB for the laptop and the charger. It’s easy to carry compared to my old laptop. Came with NVMe; we put a larger one in and added an SSD. Welcome surprise is that there is also another m.2 slot. Good array of ports, and size is more compact than our prior unit (also ASUS ROG) but with same size display.

My only real complaint is the fan tends to be very loud when playing intensive games for longer periods of time. It would be nice if the cooling was more efficient to avoid this issue.

A few minor flaws, such as the very annoying Aura keyboard (which lights the keys instead of the letters on them), microscopic markings for the system indicator lights, a USB2 port instead of a USB3 and ELEVEN (11) screws instead of one to take the back panel off.

Don't put too much stock into any of the negatives reviewers may have said. The screen is crisp, colour renders fine for a gaming or work machine. The fans are noticeable when the machine is stressed, but it's not like an F22 Raptor at your desk! Well, maybe speed-wise, but not noise-wise!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features! I bought my laptop 2 weeks ago, and I'm very happy to have it. I've got it just for drawings, not for gaming. The price for the performance is amazing. I can open more than 2 or 3 drawing programs at the same time and it's still very functional and fast. 3 fan modes are very well. The Asus software gives you access to control fan settings, from quiet to a vacuum cleaner in your room that can boost performance if you are not around people who will get annoyed with a leafblower going off in your room. This controllability is a very nice touch. The changing colors on the keyboard are distracting. One-color would be better. However, you shouldn't worry about it. You can turn off the lights with one click when you are working or play games, and turn on them when you listen to music in a dark room. So, it is cool and I really like it though. Quite lightweight, lighter than I expected because I used MSI GT 72S 6QD Dominator 17.3" for more than 5 years and it was very heavy. The last thing is I love the color and the design of this laptop.

The specs for the price are spectacular and fits all of my needs. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It also looks really slick and the honeycomb back panel design is a nice added flair. Its visual aesthetics is really something to be mentioned along with how great it performs. I am mostly using it for work study/school and the powerful CPU and GPU as well as other components which make up the laptop aids in my various work task application in a smooth manner and provides a great experience for me. This is my first ASUS laptop, and I'm quite pleased.

I bought this to be used for gaming and coding and it has been a pleasure to use this laptop. It just works for what I am using it for. I shopped around for a few weeks before zeroing in on this laptop and it has lived up to my own standards. The laptop looks really cool and performs very well. I stream a lot of video, code websites and play games and I have not had one issue with the TUF A15 laptop. I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for providing this feedback, but whether they gave me this or not I would still give it the same rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first gaming pc and I liking what I got! I looked at a lot of reviews for this laptop. Mostly mixed but the only complaints was that the screen was poor and the heating. So far those two things aren't bothering me at all. I just wanted a strong computer that can handle high performance and I think this does the job; I'm having fun with game and playing them all at their highest settings with no problems. The screen I guess is average and the camera has only 720p resolution so I doesn't make things look too pristine on Zoom. As for the heat I honestly had worse the fan does a decent job, though it really does get loud but I don't mind too much plus it has different fan modes like silent mode that help; I have a ergonomic laptop stand that holds the laptop at an angle allowing the fans to do their job better so no overheating issues. Battery life is ok I heard it is good for a gaming laptop but I guess that's fair considering how much power goes through this thing. So as far as a minor issues I've had so far was for some reason the computer would not go into sleep mode on its own even though I had the setting set that way; I don't know if it was a Windows issue of the laptop but it thankfully fixed itself. And I do wish the RGB keyboard had a few more lighting styles but other then that a great laptop with great specs at the price I paid. And I can't think of anything else at the moment. Hope this helps sorry for the essay.

I can run all my racing sims games in maximum performance with no issue at all on my tv. but don't forget to setup the graphic card to use NVIDIA when you are running your games because this laptop have 2 GPUs, the NVIDIA for performance and the AMD onboard one to save battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs (school and games) The product itself is really nice. I've had it for a month and haven't had any issue with it. It even came with stickers lol. PROS : I am an occasional gamer, and so far I notice a huge difference in how smooth the TUF A15 runs games I play (e.g. Monster Hunter World : Iceborne) compared to my older ASUS gaming laptop. The 144 Hz display is really really pleasing for me. Needless to say, it is perfect for my school needs as well. Fast and smooth, with a lot of storage. And surprisingly light! CONS : It does become quite hot when playing games, and the AC adapter even more. I don't know if it's a worry. I also dislike how small the arrow keys are, and how different the keyboard layout is from my old laptop. It's hard to get used to, especially when typing French. Very happy with this purchase, for a very fair price too.

This was the best priced Ryzen 7/RTX 2060 combo I could find and the graphics do not disappoint. The fan can get a bit loud when gaming and the plastic keyboard/mousepad feels a little cheap, but this is a budget priced gaming laptop and it does not disappoint overall.

It is great for normal use and it can run almost all of my games at max settings with FPS around 40 - 120 with silent and performance mode. The fans get a little loud on performance and turbo which is why I like to play with silent even at the price of lower frames. Overall its a great laptop for everyday use and gaming.

My finger do not find the keys easily as they are completely flat with little space between. I would have preferred slightly dipped keys. Apart from that, There was virtually ZERO documentation in the box. Not a card with special Offers, no Windows key, no Manual of any sort. Only a completely useless 4 page TUF Gaming User Guide (E15801), a Warranty Card (E14273) and a small sheet of Stickers. Nothing to explain what offers or features I get with this laptop. It is a very quick laptop and without any tweaking, did attain some pretty good scores on 3DMark and Superposition Benchmarks. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.... But really, ASUS could have done a lot better job of informing me, the customer, about it's features, offers, etc. I was under the impression I would be getting a game included, (though I cannot recall which it was) which there was no mention of in the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine! I was looking for a laptop that could have good speed but still functional for day to day tasks. The 720HD cam is perfect for web calls and good mic quality. Fans are not loud in my opinion if at wide-open throttle while playing games. Fans are ultra-quiet while operating in web browsers and normal tasks. DOWNLOAD ARMOURYCRATE from Asus; your phone will have control of your computer's performance settings and give you live data while in-game. Chasis is plastic but it feels solid, the aluminum helps stiffen up the screen and the keyboard feels great, I like the WASD keys as a clear as those buttons will eventually wear out the faster and they are more easily identifiable. The LEDs in the keyboard are fantastic and can also be modified to whatever mood you are in. Speakers pack a punch but I still prefer a headset for gaming. Lastly, this computer can be upgraded, specifically the RAM, most laptops soldered everything in place but Asus designed this to be upgraded for further performance! Why are you still reading this? BUY IT ALREADY :)

Wanted an R5 but didn't want to wait the 2 weeks plus for shipping so ended up with a R7! I honestly don't notice a difference in speed between the R7 and R5 for my uses! Im already on the internet and going places when I boot up my Asus TUFF A15 R7 ssd in comparison to my Acer e15 hdd thats still on the black boot up screen at the same times! I will definitely be buying another Asus for my wife soon

Mine is a downgraded version from the original one (on Ryzen 5 and GTX 1650Ti) and yet it is able to deliver smooth gaming experience from some AAA titles. However, there are some quite noticeable flaws that one should take into consideration before buying. First and foremost, the fan. They are exceptionally loud, especially during intensive gaming session, and even so, A15 can get toasty with temperature range from 80-85 degree Celsius. Yes, you can change the setting to Silence, but that means reduced FPS or graphic quality. The second problem is more of a nuisance, as the monitors every once in a while flash black. Even though there has not been any significant consequences, it is still rather annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Performance, Amazing Price I'll cut to the skinny. The TUF506IV-AS76 has an RTX 2060 Mobile GPU and a new Ryzen R7 4800H 8 core, 16 thread processor with 16GB of DDR4 3200Mhz RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. This thing is a little monster and you will not be disappointed by the performance. Period. I understand this laptop has (pointlessly) receive some negative reviews from various Youtuber's complaining about the CPU/GPU temps and the display. Trust this, literally ALL gaming laptops with high-end components run hot and loud: 90-95+ Celsius and 55+ Decibels in some cases, especially when both the CPU and GPU are both being hit by an intense game. Any laptop with these same tier of components that might possibly shave a Celsius or two of the top end temps and maybe a couple dB off accoustics are either 1) significantly more expensive, and/or 2) are so large and thick that they aren't good as laptops anymore but are considered more "desktop replacements." Having said that, keep in mind that AMD's website lists the 4800H's max temp as 105c - which is where the CPU will simply thermal throttle, it won't die if you somehow manage to hit that temp and you probably won't unless you go out of your way aiming to make it happen. P.S. There are also some options (Google them) to turn CPU boosting off which allows the CPU to hit a max temp of like 77c from my experience. There is also a Ryzen controller program you can download to manually control the wattage the CPU can pull which can also significantly impact thermals positively as well. Speaking to Youtuber's complaints about the 144Hz Adaptive Sync panel, I guess unless you're a professional gamer who's hypersensitive to pixel response time, then you'll be hard pressed to detect a difference in the panel compared to any other 144Hz display. I thought I was sensitive to it, but as it turns out, I forgot about those "issues" existed and have played many titles on the laptop and never notice a hitch, only silky smooth frame-rates (significantly smoother if all you're accustomed to is a 60Hz display). Overall, for 1200USD you won't find a better/equally equipped laptop that's also built with such high quality. This was a no-brainer purchase for me. I set out wanting a 4800H with at least a 1660 Ti Mobile and 16GB of RAM. Most gaming laptops with those components are priced closer to 1500USD. You can't beat the TUF A15 FA506IV-AS76's price to performance. Plain and simple.

I am extremely pleased with the overall performance. Everything about the laptop screams quality. The case is excellent and very durable. I travel a lot and it has been great. I play WoW quite and have so much fun. The video card, SSD, and ram are outstanding. The best thing for me is the ease of access to the components. The first time I opened the case I was so happy to see the attention to detail and the modular design. The extra NVMe m.2 slot is very convenient and the RAM is super easy to access. The fan runs a bit loud, but that's to be expected to keep this beast running optimally.

I upgraded to 32gb of ram, and a 1tb nvme 970 evo. Ryzen 7 4800h, 2060 super and a 144hz 1080p monitor built in is really hard to compete with for around 1300. I paid 1500 including the 2 year warranty. Definitely noticeable upgrade from my race nitro 5.

I know you can't see it cause I put the black shield back on but I started off by replacing the 8GB DDR4 3200 RAM with 32GB DDR4 3200 Kingston HyperX RAM, I added a second M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD for gaming & a 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA SSD. Yeah I could go higher in onboard storage but honestly why? This puppy is as charged up as it can be.

Not sure if I got the right one could not find it (TUF516P), the processor i7-11370H is decent; only four cores; does the job however. ON the other hand the 8gb 3070 GPU and the 1 TB SSD hard drive makes it worth it at the $1900 CAD price point.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised with how much I like this laptop, ASUS thought of including everything you would need for a solid game/work session. The laptop feels expensive, but is within a reasonable budget. Works like a dream, too!

Computer completely died after 1 year 33 days and ASUS said it was 33 days out of 1 year manufacturer warranty and would not repair it without payment. Product was 1 year manufacturer delayed. So waited nearly a year for it after ordering only to have it die 1 year later. I understand sometimes things happen and products die and it's 33 days outside of warranty but customer service wouldn't even consider honoring the warranty, never spoke to a supervisor or anything just wanted $85 diagnostic fee. I have had great success with ASUS products to this point but for a brand new computer with light wear and serious manufacturing delays to die after 1 year 33 days and the manufacturer wouldn't do anything, not even waive the diagnostic fee is unacceptable and I won't be buying ASUS again.

I just recently upgraded from my older Asus Rog to a new Asus Tuf. I mainly use Asus gaming laptops for video editing and music recording, which requires a lot of power to run all the software and hardware. I have had no issues with the Asus Tuf handling the job. I love the Asus Tuf for it's speed, it's slimmer frame and it feels solid, no cheap plastic like some other laptops. I love the colorful keyboard backlight selection. What I don’t like about it is how loud the fan gets at times. There is an option to go into quiet mode, but then you opt for less power. My older Asus Rog was silent, so I was surprised when I heard how loud this fan could get. Quiet fans are a selling point for me, along with speed. Had I known the fan was that loud, I would have looked at a different model because a loud fan for recording music is not something I want to hear in the background. Other than that, if fans are not an issue for you, I would highly recommend the Asus Tuf laptop.

It seems like a nice laptop so it's possible the recommendation of it for what I need was incorrect. Keyboard works differently than a non gaming laptop and this is my 4th day with it and the bluetooth won't work. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for gaming Before I start this review I should state that I am receiving a 90 day warranty extension. This laptop is good for what gaming which is why I got it. It seems to be able to play most games at high or ultra settings. I was able to play Jedi Fallen order at ultra settings above 60fps along with Rainbow Six Siege and Final Fantasy 15. The 144hz screen is great but I heard it's not good for color accuracy so this won't be a good laptop for photo editing. The keyboard and the TouchPad seem fine. Overall I would recommend this.

Found the the backlit keyboard symbols not as visible as a normal white on black keyboard but I quickly got used to it.

Keyboard is responsive and feels good. Plenty of I/O. Great Value out. I'd highly recommend uninstalling McAfee, wish it didn't come preinstalled. Two quality of life things I see getting annoying in the future: 1. the LED status light above the keyboard remaining on when using it at night 2. the touchpad isn't centered underneath the spacebar so my palm hits it as I type this and constantly moves the mouse.

Now that telecommuting is a permanent thing with my job, (I'm a Roadway Design Engineer, basically using Auto CADD daily to design roads) I needed a very well built, fast and capable laptop to do the above mentioned tasks and then some.. well this laptop has not let me down yet! And on top of the amazing capabilities, the price for this unit is absolutely amazing and unheard of. I highly recommend this laptop for anyone looking to basically anything!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best laptop I've owned I purchased this unit in January 2021, and it is great. I use it to run a photography business and for gaming. When I use it at home I run it closed with two monitors attached, and it runs games and Photoshop smoothly with no heating issues. It runs my photo booth system speedily, and never gets more than slightly warm. I had actually first purchased a more expensive ASUS ROG system, but it kept overheating and shutting down, so I switched to the TUF, and it has proven to be exceptionally reliable. There are comments in other reviews about the screen not being as high end as a more expensive laptop for the purposes of photo editing, but I think the quality difference is small, and I find the screen bright and beautiful. I use a calibrated monitor for home editing and I'm not having any issues. My TUF travels with me when I see clients, and when I'm home using it closed it my cats make endless attempts to use it as a cat bed. So military grade toughness is appreciated. :) Overall, this is a great all-around laptop, and I have recommended it to friends.

The problem I am having now is a black screen that appears and then locks/ freezes my device. Sources and support from Microsoft and Asus websites mention it may be a driver problem. Is this the problem that was mentioned in the email that I am replying to. Is this all caused because of a none OEM OS? Also, will this all be solved with a reinstall of the OEM software. I must mention... ...As a computer professional myself I see this as a pretty disappointing situation and a more unsatisfied with the only measure to take is to spend more money on on a device purchased, what is already considered a substantial amount of money. The device great but as a tech enthusiast who owns many brands of computers, I find that spending the amount of close to $1000 on a device that has known issues with drivers and "OEM" operating system compatibility and none existant solution support EXCEPT for purchasing from a third party is not what I expected. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The features are there but so are the BSOD I purchased this A15 TUF Gaming laptop after i lost my main machine in a house fire and was unalbe to get it covered by insurance. I was optimistic as i had traditionally used Asus brand Main boards and Graphics Cards in the past and was always impressed. This was certainly more affordable than the other similarly classed machines but i was ill prepared for the instability of the system. I get a BSOD error one to two times a day and my support options are limited.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A few problems I;ve had my Asus Tuff A15 for just over a month--BestBuy allows exchanges within 30 days, so too late--and have two discouraging problems. First, one of these amazing keyboard keys with millions of testings, got stuck! This was the Caps Lock key, and eventually I got it unstuck, but now I'm worried about the keys. But worst of all, yesterday I removed the Mcafee antivirus that came with it for a month, and at its expiry, installed Norton antivirus. That caused the computer to refust to operate, despite my trying all the various suggestions that came up on the screen, until at last I clicked on Factory Reload or whatever it's called. That wiped all my apps, but did get me started from scratch. This all took many hours of frustration, both trying the suggestions for restarting the computer, and then starting from scratch after the Factory Reload. Obviously, I'm up and running again, so didn't have to return the computer, but I feel somewhat apprehensive of what might nest go wrong. Unsettling, as I LOVE this computer, but these two glitches are the reality of my experience, sorry to say.

A trial of x-box came with it and included a general version of the new flight simulator. The graphics are stunning, the new sim ran great and the old fsx did run. The only issue I did have was connecting additional monitors. The HDMI worked great, but the usb-c monitor did cause the fsx to crash.

The rtx3050ti card makes for great gaming on high or better settings, and the build quality is surprisingly good. The Ryzen 7 processor coupled with 16gb of ddr4 3200 memory makes for a very fast pc. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent screen quality, fast for price point I was in the market for a replacement home PC laptop to replace our ten year old ASUS. Considering our previous ASUS lasted nearly a decade, I looked at ASUS first. I wanted a laptop that could easily handle most games form the last few years and also be a good "daily driver" while not breaking the bank. So far, this fits the bill. Every game's specs that I've tested on CYRI have passed with flying colors. The form factor is also really nice: slim and classy. As long as this thing holds up as long as I expect an ASUS to do so, then this is a home run. Also very affordable for the specs ($1200ish) on Amazon.

The reason I took off one star is because within the first week of using it, it completely froze and I couldn’t even ctrl alt delete. It never happened again but the laptop is still new and I am concerned about it happening again. Other than that I am satisfied with my purchase and recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked for 5 months I got this laptop in September of 2022, it’s now February 2023 and my laptop is stuck on my BIOS screen. After like an hour phone call, with a very nice tech lady, I figured out it wasn’t detecting my media drivers and the laptop had to be sent in to get fixed. Not only is this super annoying because I’ve had this laptop for 5 months, it’s super inconvenient and I have no idea how long this process is even going to take. I have had about 3 gaming laptops now and not one of them has ever stopped working so fast. I’m just lucky I still have it under warranty.

Graphics are great and he can play all his games on it with no problem. Only issue is having problems with getting sound to work. I'm guessing we will have to reinstall drivers. Still trying to figure out how to get it fixed.

I reviews several alternatives and ASUS kept creeping to the top. I landed a ASUS A15 with all the horsepower needed to run the tuffiest PC games in the market. The included jewels being Nvidia & Ryzen features pushed by the 4TB SSD and 64 megabytes answered all my questions. ASUS know how to put together a real powerhouse at a powerhouse price. I can run almost all games, if not, all of them. (So far I have been able to run all of my games in max settings) I don’t regret it and I’m happy with my choice.

My wireless mouse and headset connected easily and setup was a breeze. I haven't done any high visual stuff yet but streaming and gaming online so far has been great.

I really enjoy the free sync technology. And the freakin' fast speed with which it handles everything I do. I am nowhere near an elite gamer, but I do partake in online games. This machine lets me expand my entertainment horizons! It came with Windows 11, which I am now a big fan of. Easy transition from Windows 10.

I love the fact that you have the option of upgrading the ram and storage. I haven’t upgraded them yet but it runs fine for me. I will say that if you don’t have a laptop cooler to go underneath it you will need one for long sessions. ASUS did a phenomenal job with this laptop. I was unsure of ASUS at first, but I had them confused with Acer. Very impressive machine.

Screen is clear, and supports up to 300 HZ, backlit keyboard is fully customizable and numeric keyboard is a plus, although the NumLk key does not have a ON/OFF indication. Construction materials seem to be high quality, I would have preferred a metal case but they are not available in the TUF or ROG series. Anyway, just in case I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback in this review, but my opinion is not biased. The mouse pad is also quite sensitive and a much improved feeling from my previous laptop. This model includes a camera, and the picture quality is also fair. There are great discounts in 2023 at several retailers, so do not miss out this opportunity.

I got in in case things like classes got shut down due to covid or a teacher had to work remotely for a while (one teacher ended up last three classes remote due to covid). With the faster processor I can have multiple links/webpage for class open and ot does not affect the video quality.

From gaming to video editing, it can handle a rather sizable work load or serve as a highly efficient gamkng device. My only gripe was that my screen has recently began to show horizontal lines and a black bar across the bottom of the screen. I’ve tried updating my drivers and windows OS and yet it continues. My only option seems to be to replace the screen and unfortunately that will cost me a pretty penny since my warranty has expired. Outside of the screen issue I have zero complaints and would certainly recommend this laptop to anyone that loves to game or just wants a great versatile laptop to work from.

This computer did it all INCLUDING the BIOS! It runs quiet, the power for gaming is great, and the connectivity is great. I've put the laptop through its paces and I'm very happy with the performance and build quality. It is stealthy as it does not look like a gaming laptop I can walk into work with it and no one would know it's a little beast under the hood of this thing.

Now that I have it, it has been doing the work I need better than anything previously purchased. And it beat some of the complaints about getting hot or having a noisy fan: not the case. It runs not a bit hotter or noisier than my best previous laptops, so that makes me even happier. Furthermore, a computer geetk friend told me told me this particular computer is tops in its ability to do the job compared with all but one other computers of its type. Hope you will be as happy as I am if you get the machine from NewEgg!

It is a bit heavy, but he's a strong, young man who doesn't mind carrying it around. The price was just right for us, and we are very satisfied with this laptop.

It has performed perfectly to this point. It is not the highest end gaming machine right now but for the price it is a very nice machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat Little Package Bought only a few days ago, but initial impressions are solid. Battery can be hilariously short as you'd expect from a gaming laptop, but it includes the capability to switch to integrated graphics and extend battery life by two or threefold. Build quality is good. The fan does have a habit of ramping on and off when doing low intensity tasks which is noticeable, but perhaps I've not played around with fan settings enough. USB4 is greatly appreciated at this price point, not even mentioning the Ryzen 9 and RTX 4060 in my SKU. If you're looking for a mid-range gaming laptop, I see no reason why this shouldn't be the one you turn to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Power packed performance - decent battery I am using this laptop for 2 months and have noticed quite a decent performance without compromising much on the battery. The armory Crate and My Asus Apps from Acer are good at managing the laptop on the software front though they would have provided a lifetime Microsoft office license with this. Cons: 1.The screen performance could be slightly improved as the one I purchased comes with a 144Hz panel and there is no inbuilt adaptive brightness. 2.The camera is neither a Full HD one nor does it comes with an IR, hence doesn't support the "Windows Hello!". 3.The WiFi performance, though it comes with a WiFi 6 isn't that great especially when located at a distance from the router. This is in comparison to a Hp Zbook Fury G8 mobile workstation. Leaving these few drawbacks, the performance is top notch for a Windows laptop in the price budget.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't count on their tech support So far, the laptop has worked okay, but it didn't come with drivers for the virtual COM: ports. I have 4 products and 7 applications that use virtual COM: ports. Their tech support people told me to get the application companies to write the drivers for ASUS's laptop. That's nonsense. Then they told me I would have to buy external COM: ports. That's also nonsense. Out of desperation, I subscribed to Norton Utilities update service. A few days later, Norton supplied me with the drivers for ASUS's computer and the virtual COM: ports worked just like they have always had on earlier versions of WIndows. (The ASUS laptop has Windows 11 Home edition.) If you need the virtual COM: ports, don't count on ASUS' tech support for help! I was really worried I had bought a useless computer and would have to send it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I recently got this gaming laptop as a back-up for my travels, and it is now my primary gaming/work laptop. The build is overall great, and I feel very secure traveling with it. Hinges are a big deal to me and most don't look great and/or feel cheap. The hinges on this TUF Gaming laptop looks really sleek, and feels well build. Keyboard and track-pad are nice size/feel and look pretty awesome as well. As for performance, I am running most ESports titles with no problem on it, and haven't even had to upgrade the RAM yet. Processor seems to be holding up well; overall very happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely durable with great ease of access I bought my Asus TUF A15 on November 28, 2003 I’ve only had it for roughly a couple weeks but as soon as I opened the box it was evident I bought a tank usually laptop hinges are fragile and vulnerable to breaking especially if you if they’re supporting a heavier computer the A15 is the first laptop that ive felt truly comfortable with such that I know it’s powerful fan are going to keep it cool and if my cat were somehow able to knock it off my desk I would gasp but rest assured it’s as bullet proof as a laptop comes when the Amazon driver dropped it off he through the box onto my front concrete stair steps I was upset as it was LOUD but I shortly thereafter discovered the laptop has some weight to it It’s fast and has blown away my old touchscreen Samsung that cost me over $1000 2 or 3 years ago I’m loving this ASUS but I’m disappointed the warranty apparently expired in 2018 so I felt let down there… Overall it’s an incredible laptop and it does everything I need it to do and then plenty more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful machine that allows content creation There are many laptops that are recommended for content creation - video editing, graphic design, which takes CPU and GPU capacity, good graphic card, and a decent 100% sRGB color accurate screen, but many fall short. Asus Tuf A 15 doesnt. It doesnt overheat, it has the power and the screen allows design work. It's a perfect machine.

I don't really do any gaming but I am in school fof programming and needed one that will hold up over several years. This was referred to me along with several others by a friend so far it has been great and I hope it will continue to be good. I love the backlight on the keys. I just wish I could change the colors for the color cycle for the lighting on the keys. Still have more to learn about it and what it can do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty nice for cost So far so good. I exchanged a MSI GF63 and went a little bigger to get the A15. The performance already smashes the msi. The value is pretty good considering the A15 carries a Ryzen 9 and a 4050. The build contruction is nice and solid. It does not feel flimsy at all. The load times are quick. The trackpad...OMG THE TRACKPAD IS NICE. This is a solid computer that I really expect to easily handle anything I want to do with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not what it claims to be! This laptop is not a gaming laptop. It has 7 gigabytes of RAM, which would probably qualify for a work laptop, but not a gaming laptop. I was trying to load Google earlier, but it couldn't even load that! Loading up games is also incredibly slow, and crashes often. Overall, this "gaming" laptop is not what it claims to be. This inspired me to save for a $2,800 desktop!

I tested few games, some older like Just Cause 3, some more recent like Cyberpunk 2077. I'm very pleased with the performance/price ratio of this laptop. It's possible to play (in my opinion) with a comfortable stable frame rate and after running some minor tweaks (limiting fps to ~55) the computer stay rather cool (for a gaming laptop) in the matter of temperatures. I though about buying version with RTX 4060, but the performance gain for me wasn't worth it. The one thing that I think is not to todays standards is the amount of RAM. Only 16GB in gaming laptop is a joke, as it fills pretty quickly. The plastic palmrest and chasis likes to shine from sweaty fingers and palms. Aside from that I'm pleased with my choice.

This is a beast the keyboard and trackpad feel amazing. 6 GB RTX4050 with Mux switch is an upgrade when it comes to gaming. I am getting better performances in all my games. A pocket-friendly beast with multiple upgrade option with NVME and Ram slots
